Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it.

These Sufi dervishes are called Mawlawi. I am from Konya, the city of Mawlana Jalaleddin Rumi, the founder of Mawlawi Sufism. Did you know that mawlawi clothes and dances (samaa) are full of meaning? The hat on their head (kulah) symbolizes the gravestone. The black robes ( jubba) symbolize the grave. The white robe (tannura) symbolizes the white cloth called kafan, which the dead are wrapped in in Islam. These clothes show that the human body is mortal but the soul is eternal. With death, a person is freed from his body and reunites with God. For this reason, death is called wuslat in Sufism. Wuslat means meeting with the beloved. Death means meeting with the true beloved, God. According to Sufis, all existence is a reflection of the true existence, the one God. Sufis lose themselves in this true existence, whirling and getting drunk. Because they have forgotten themselves and understood that the only existence is God. Their own existence disappears in his existence.
The Mawlawi dance is called samaa. It means listening. Sufis get lost in the presence of God and get lost in the universe, they revolve around themselves just as the whole universe revolves around itself and listen to its secrets.. Listening to the universe means listening to God, the only true being.

Supremacy of readers of 40 rules of love❤
Feeling bad for those who haven't read this yet by contemplating that this book is about any rules about love(romance and all)but in reality its all about love for everything made by god in this universe and self discovery.

But people in the comments are talking about a book called The Forty Rules of Love, whose author doesn't even have the ability to read Rumi's books.
