I was only seven when this album came out and I loved it. I used to listen to it on my walkman, and one day my folks asked me what I was listening to. We palyed it on a car trip, and they where kind of shoked. They expected some pop band, and suddenly these groovy piano and insane saxsophone and Mick's sexy totally grown up voice. They were like "OK kid..." years past, and I am proud of that kid choosing this music, that is both highly skilled and timeless.

Love, love, him. I still listen to his music everyday. 2024

His voice is soothing and his songs reflective. Holding Back The Years was the breath of fresh air that brought cool and uplifting songs. I have many favourites, yet I always get lost within the magic of Stars. Thank you Mick for the music and hope a tour will bring you Montreal.
