With AI and robots, things are gonna get worse, before it gets better. The Govt. should do more. When I see them wave and say Hello, just proves how kind they really are. It's crazy how cell phones have become so engrained into humanity that even in some of the poorest countries in the world you will still see people with them.

Taga-Cavite City rin ako. Nakakalungkot lang, ipinagmamalaki ng mga kapuwa natin Pilipino sa ibang bansa na maganda ang Pilipinas at totoo ito dahil marami tayong magagandang tourist spot at mga magagandang lugar at mga tanawin. Pero nakakalungkot lang kung hindi nagtutulungan ang mga nasa depressed area para manatiling maging malinis ang kapaligiran na maipagmamalaki sana natin kapag nakukuhanan tayo ng video. Sabagay totoo namang ito ang realidad ng buhay na nabubuhay tayo sa napakahirap na panahon na napakaraming mga stress na at maraming mga panggambala sa buhay at hindi madali ang pagbabago at gayundin para mapakilos ang mga tao na magtulungan sa isat-isa. Sana naman hindi lang positibong mga bagay sa ganda ng Pilipinas ang laging nasasabi ng ating mga kababayan sa ibang lahi kundi meron din namang negatibong mga bagay na nagpapakita ng realidad ng buhay kung ano talaga ang mga nangyayari sa kasalukuyang panahon kung bakit may mga pangit na mga bagay rin naman tayong nakikita.

Napaka unsafe ng lugar na ito sa mga tao , ang liit ng mga daanan . Hindi dapat payagan ng nasa government ang ganitong situation ng mga tirahan ng mga tao . Marumi at Nasir’s na ang dagat . Mayroong nag comment na may pangyayari na beyond ng control ng individual. Sa buhay ng tao, ang person ang may control ng buhay nila . I grew up in place like that , 10 meters from our home was the garbage dump of metro manila , most of my neighbor are hard working and their children attend school , I used to collect scrap paper and tin can in that garbage mountain , we are 8 sibling in our family , 2 are engineer , we have a nurse , accounting graduate , all of my sibling finish college studies , we now improve our standard of living , not rich but belong to middle class , we now have our own house , away from that place , but one thing I know , most of the people on that slum are kind , hard working and their dream are to have job and afford a better place to live.

What a sad life but look at those people wearing happy faces.. Its ridiculously insane.

My mother often tells us stories of her growing up and the life out there. She became a nurse, moved to the states, has a 6 figure job and slowly got her family over into the states. Filipinos are some of the most selfless and hardest working people you’ll ever meet.

As a man I sometimes complain about my life. But after watching these videos I am truly blessed. Life ain’t bad after all.

If the Philippine government sees this video and comments, perhaps they can follow in the footsteps of the former governor of DKI Jakarta in Indonesia, Mr. Ahok. He recorded how many families there were in areas like this in Jakarta, and built flats as decent places to live. Jesus Christ of Nazareth blesses all people in the Philippines.

I have many many many coworkers from the Philippines in my country
For at least 6 years they've been a part of my work schedule I learned many things from them which one became my life motivation " we do it know so we rest later" I quote it with their accent. They work long hours and send almost all of the money they earn to their families because they actually come from backgrounds and poverty like how it shows in the video, yet they rarely complain and they always smile and crack the funniest jokes about you in your face I respect Filipinos so much this video makes me appreciate my coworkers even more.

There are lot of opportunities in the Philippines but the main problem there are a lot of lazy people. That's the reality of it.

They look like good people. Smiling and saying hello.

These people are true survivors and innovators in today's cruel punishing society....
despite of such harsh conditions.....
They still know how to have fun and create community....

If they didn't throw away so much rubbish they would live much better. You can be poor and that doesn't mean you can't be clean. They live in the environment they themselves have created, they are victims of their own lack of civility.
They should become more aware and responsible, perhaps with education in this regard.

I'm only 30 seconds into the video and immediately all the trash at the shoreline leading into the communities looks like money. Recycle paper plastic even the concrete. Gather it up and recycle. It only looks bad because the people who live there walk past it like it's not my problem. Then it becomes a problem for everyone. I just know that if a small business would go through and work with a recycling company to repurpose the waste material. It can come back as another product or if it's food or organic put it back into the ground for farming efforts. The garbage just looks like money to me. That's all

Are they living on a landfill? Or is this their own doing, throwing trash just anywhere. Why aren’t there government doing anything for these people, at least do something about the garbage around them, because this is so unhealthy 😡 I not only feel bad for these people, but also for their oceans. Sometimes I feel they’re not even trying to live in a better environment, because there’s no excuse to live this way. The community should work together to have better living conditions.
