I thought Kathy Bates was a fine actress, but I just wasn’t into her movies or shows. She is AMAZING in Matlock! Her acting is BRILLIANT!! I tell EVERYONE on FB that it is the BEST show out there!! Last night, I watched the 6th show that dealt about drugs a lot. I grew up in the 70’s and lived an hour from Mexico. Our high school was overrun with drugs. We were even on the cover of Life Magazine. It wasn’t until last night that I finally understood about the mindset of drug addicts. Best show ever! I cannot say enough good things about Kathy Bates!!

Kathy Bates, you are phenomenal!! Please don't do the Hollywood thing of changing your face. Never ruin that "look" of YOU.

Kathy is an amazing actress. My husband and I just started binging Matlock, and both of us love it. The character is multi-faceted and Kathy is perfect for the part. I understand wanting to retire, but I am so glad she said yes to this.

I too thought she used to look good. Not one to criticize other women, but she now looks tired, haggard and much older. Too bad.

You’re an awesome person but I realize everyone has self doubts.

I think you’re a great actress and I have felt invisible. It seems like when you get older you live out your usefulness, but I I love watching you and you’re very good at what you do and I feel the part. You actually make us feel that you really grieving mother.

I’m really enjoying her version of Matlock! That twist at the end of the pilot episode caught me completely off guard. I’m so glad that she was able to take charge of her health! What a great accomplishment. ❤
