Good lord Antonio Cromartie was fast. Dude almost ran AP down several times and had a 109 yard TD this game.

No current backs in the NFL can do this anymore. Except Henry. They watered down to an all passing league. Can you imagine if Rex Ryan coached All Day Peterson? 🏆

No disrespect to AP, but I’m giving all the credit to that offensive line. They straight up man handled the chargers

Look at the per game averages and this guy is a top five all time RB along with Sanders, Brown, Payton, and Marcus Allen. That’s the five guys with the best yards per game and touchdowns per game averages

Adrian Peterson is the best running back of all time anybody thinks that it’s number 22 of Dallas is sadly mistaken. He has the best offensive line of all time.

Imagine that this is what it looked like to watch jim brown…every single Sunday for a decade.

AP was so special. We still haven’t seen a performance like this one since. King Henry did something resemblant but not quite the same. This man single handedly worn down an entire great defense.

I’ve always been a bigger fan of the players rather than teams, never felt allegiance to one or the other. Adrian Peterson was and always will be one of my all time favorite players in history, watching him play was just pure amazement

Interesting to see how much the NFL has changed in almost two decades.
There's no way any modern NFL offense feeds 30 carries to a guy
Especially after the first 12 were stopped

This is probably the best Chargers defense I ever saw (48 turnovers, crazy sacks). When that seventh starter went down to injury, AP got off. I remember thinking at the time that he was 6'4" and 245 lbs.

The difference between Peterson and Henry is AP took a lot of contact, Henry’s unique arm shove and stiff arm prevents him from having to run guys over all day long. AP running style is in his own lane.
