Alex weld is better looking and is going to be stronger. You don't want to vertical down on anything that is going to take a lot of load. 1/8" or thinner is what I tell people for vertical down

I don't see anyone welding vertical UP! That is how I was tought. I welded rail cars back together. Laying between tracks, replacing a coupler springs, grin and bear slag. Welders have improved considerably. Still vertical UP, seams stronger.

I just love you guys, I dig the handle bars on Caleb's jeep for Sean at Bikes and Beards but I'm a little concerned that it could be a knuckle buster or even a wrist breaker. We'll see I guess. I'm hoping that jeep stays together for at least the games, after that, who knows!! Stay sharp guys!!

Caleb is absolutely the most obnoxious of the brothers, but they seem to let him narrate everything! I personally could do without listening to his voice ever again but the comedy of their antics is at least entertaining.

That flat weld will be much stronger than the downhill weld. For the application it's definitely fine, but generally penetration and strength wise you never want to Downhill Mig weld anything thicker than 3/16".

I've watched 4x4 shows Saturday and Sunday morning since I was a kid.
Since I was a kid I've said one day...one day... finally at 41 I bought a 2door JL Rubicon and so far have installed a 2 1/2 inch lift and 35s. It's an appetizer for now as I want a 4 inch Clayton or RK with 38s and gears. Have had 4 wheelers in my younger years but being older and a bit of a fat boy the Jeep checks all my boxes. That being said back in 19 I bought an XR650L and have really enjoyed it around town, so yeah... dirtbike stuff would be great!!!👍🤙

Love your videos… maybe you can get the Fanttik company to send you five more mini compressors because you need way more light when you’re shooting videos in dark areas (under vehicles, In close, dark spaces, etc.)

Actually, the UV-B and UV-C from the arc flash will give you cancer a lot quicker than the fumes from welding whatever you're working on.
