The International Congress of Plant Pathology (ICPP), under the patronage of the International Society for Plant Pathology (ISPP;
https://www.isppweb.org/ ), is the world's largest conference promoting the worldwide development of Phytopathology, and the dissemination of knowledge about plant diseases and plant health management. ICPP2023 (
https://www.icpp2023.org/ ) organized in Lyon (France) by the French Phytopathological Society (SFP;
https://www.sfp-asso.org/ ) has attracted more than 2400 participants from 100 countries (550 pH.D students, 70 sessions, 400 speakers, 1500 posters, 9 round-tables, 20 satellite meetings). One goal of ICPP2023 was to promote the integration of Plant Health & Plant Pathology into the One Health strategy. The next ICPP meeting is scheduled during 18-26 August 2028 on the Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia (
