Still better than Lars Ulbitch.
Ответить😮
ОтветитьNever knew she was a drummer. I only knew of Her amazing voice!
ОтветитьChops.
ОтветитьA fun adolescence
ОтветитьA magnificent talent.
ОтветитьThis is the first time I've actually been able to see her at work on the drums -- amazing talent.
ОтветитьThe keys are sounding nice
ОтветитьWhat a talent she was.
Ответитьthis diva
ОтветитьThere you have it John Bonham, you who treated her badly and trashed her.
ОтветитьR.i.p
ОтветитьSo talented! A great loss.
ОтветитьShe had a style very similar to Buddy Rich.
ОтветитьWhat a musically gifted person she is!
ОтветитьAngelic voice and Ultra power drummer....Simply the BEST!!
ОтветитьThe Carpenters made beautiful pop music, and Karen had one of the loveliest singing voices ever, but in a weird way, it's almost too bad those things are true. Because although we got that beautiful music and lovely voice, we also largely missed out on hearing what an awesome drummer she was.
I'd love to see the alternate timeline where Richard became a music professor or something, and Karen bounced around the L.A. music scene until, at age 25, she became the drummer for, and oldest member of, The Runaways. No disrespect to Sandy West, but it would be wild to hear what Karen might have sounded like, tearing loose on the skins for a proto-punk band like them. 😀
Or I could also easily (and probably more plausibly) see her becoming a highly-in-demand studio drummer in the vein of Jeff Porcaro (or the drummer version of Carol Kaye), who could be even more in demand because she could also add some of the best background vocals you ever heard... 😉
My lord she’s fast, and clean
ОтветитьMi musa inspiradora ❤
ОтветитьI'd forgotten she also played drums.
ОтветитьShe kept her hi-hat cymbal consistent and steady, machine like, throughout the solo ! 😮
ОтветитьSi...! Hai vinto tesoro.
ОтветитьSomebody analyzed two of her live performances and the pitch perfection on the two was stunning. No modern performer to my knowledge even classical performers could match her.
And her drumming is really good. For a 95 pound woman it’s amazing!
What a talent she was❤
ОтветитьAre anyone considering that she plays drums rythm difficult and singing at the same time. This woman is (was😭) a Jewel.
ОтветитьGroovy !!!🤣
ОтветитьAnother channel says this is in 1975
ОтветитьEasily among the top 10 drummers ever - while singing beautifully too. Even John Bonham couldn't match her.
ОтветитьShe was so talented. Died too young.
ОтветитьNon riesco a trovare niente del trio
ОтветитьKhm…Khm…Ringo Starr? Anybody?
ОтветитьThis lady could play the drums... But it was her singing that really showcased her greatest.. She died much to soon.
ОтветитьShe looked so pretty with her hair up. She was very beautiful and talented. I adore her.
ОтветитьAt one point she was considered the best drummer in the world. What a loss!
ОтветитьSUPERDOTADA!!!!
ОтветитьBest female drumer all time
ОтветитьCaren Carpenter! Glenn
Ответитьmodern breakcore artists should take notes
ОтветитьAn EIGHTEEN year old girl, rated as the #1 drummer on the PLANET at that time.
R.I.P. Karen.
She not only rocked the drums, but had the voice of an ANGEL.
ОтветитьShe was always a talented singer… but as a drummer/percussionist she was SAVAGE. and today’s drummers should watch, learn from and appreciate Karen Carpenter’s insane TALENT at the kit. RIP.
ОтветитьAnd she's beautiful with fats ahhhhh
ОтветитьI won't lie her singing isnt for me at all
ОтветитьThe Carpenters started out in a jazz group and then when A&M records signed them they started doing pop.
Karen had that gorgeous contralto voice and was an award winning jazz drummer. Richard was an amazing arranger, writer, pianist. They both were musically gifted. ❤❤
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
ОтветитьEsse fenômeno nao tinha a mais bela viz do planeta mas também ticava espetacularmente a bateria! Karen Carpenter uma lenda amo❤ saudades
ОтветитьI think she had the potential to rival some of the best. Her voice however was unmatched.
ОтветитьIf you like this you should check out Carpenters Once More, a weekly live tribute show to Karen Carpenter in Branson Missouri. The singer is a percussionist and although she doesn’t play the drumset in the show, the drumset parts are perfectly done by Ray Charles’ old drummer Tim Pope!
ОтветитьWow The Female Niel Peart version but singing too😮
