His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s review of ADAFSA’s strategy for 2022-2025 underscores the UAE's ambitious leap towards agricultural and food security excellence. Agricultural development in the UAE is now characterised by sustainable practices that are recognised as a model for other countries. A strategic indicator rate of 97.6 % for example, quite impressive compared to other authorities while some initiatives such as “Collaborating Centre for Camel Diseases” are seen as successful and groundbreaking projects that set new standards globally. The country also boasts an outstanding food safety index that goes up to 96% and operates within an aim of reducing food waste. In this case, therefore, it does not only serve the purpose of exceeding global standards but also gives rise to its GDP growth and supports its agriculture sector among other things. Additionally, its active response embodies leadership in global terms when it comes to farm production stability as well as dealing with hunger issues.
