My first time watching this show. Do I understand correctly that the guy (Casey?) thought that the best way to fix "her" problem was to bring his extremely pretty girlfriend on a dating show filmed on an island paradise where the ratio was roughly 3 possibly better/richer/smarter/more emotionally mature guys for every woman? This is a comedy show, right? If not, why can't I stop laughing???

I think a lot of these guys were used to their girlfriends finding their worth within them, and not within themselves. Therefore, they took for granted how much their girlfriends actually loved them by ignoring their needs, wants, and concerns. And now that they’re happy without them ( Casey and David for example) they don’t know how to take it. It should show that you shouldn’t take for granted a good person when you have them, because they could easily not be there anymore.

The fact that she was so worried he would cheat like all her ex's then cheated on him and then blamed him for bringing her on the show is crazy.

Ashley is coming into her own.

Everyone is harping on ONE thing the dude said on one night, but actions speak louder then words. Out of all the guys he's been the most loyal. I think Casey really loves Ashley. I think he was trying to put on a facade for people and the show acting like he was so confident in everything and that IF something DID happen, he “wouldn’t care” or would “be okay” because he didn’t actually think something would happen. To be honest, I got annoyed he was doing that, but, he has been good. Has told Payton multiple times that he has a girlfriend, keeps to himself even when every other guy is coupled up and he cried seeing her with someone. He was even tempered with anything else that went on except seeing her physically with someone. I think people are being too hard on him.

Am I the only person who thinks Casey's tears are genuine? Like I think he's legitimately hurt- but, not because Ashley moved on, but because he lost his sense of security and ego (see: his pride is wounded). Also, Ashley absolutely used coming to this island to either a.) get out of her relationship, or b.) get back at Rick in a way she knew she'd kind of have a "free pass" about and I honestly loathe her for it. Like, yes, everyone makes mistakes and yes, Rick cheated in the past; but, ya'll already knew that before coming to the island. She went to bed with KB before they even had their first dates and then consistently kept him in her bed, but then would cry when Rick turned around and started becoming closer with ole girl (Medeniah?); because, /again/ it's about pride. She's mad that Rick isn't being affected by what she was doing with KB, in what little clips she could see from him, and she's mad that KB didn't want her anymore after a few weeks (which, I mean, great because KB has always given me bad vibes and now his true colors are showing. Walking red flag right there).


I feel sorry for Kate. And Toneata. Please stay away from David.

I don't think Ashley looks like a fool about getting played by him I think to be honest that she sleeps around on a regular boat because it's recorded and this is where 1 million people are watching she want to relationship with him and he denied her so I think that's what is hurting her the most not because she did it because I think that's just how she really is
