Why are they doing CPR his arms were still moving
ОтветитьFantastic work gents. Return of spontaneous circulation achieved, old Chris tried to die on you twice... and you kept cool, remained professional, and got the man the help he needed... even had time to crack some jokes. Well played.
ОтветитьDon't ever let that man perform cpr again. Terrible.
ОтветитьGOD BLESS EVERYONE INVOLVED, AMAZING
ОтветитьApart from a hospital, this is the ideal scenario in which to (unfortunately) suffer a cardiac arrest.
Glad he survived!!
Way to fast
ОтветитьLower your cholesterol
ОтветитьHe didn't arrest cos he would have died, he had a heart attack!
ОтветитьI remember watching this with tears flowing! He was SO lucky to have them there right then 😢❤
ОтветитьSo am I right saying you can't land on the helipad without fire brigade there
ОтветитьAt least I'm not the only person who had a heart incident at work. Glad the guy survived.
ОтветитьThe amount of idiots in this comment section is unbelievable. I bet every single one doesnt have any medical qualifications either.
ОтветитьBro literally died, came back to work, and said he's "just a bit sore"
ОтветитьIf it was gonna happen, besides a hospital, he was in the best place possible to have it happen. Immediate help, trained professionals at hand, and a swift ride to the hospital. So glad he recovered. They must've been scared, but they handled it so calmly. All heroes in my book.
ОтветитьThe luckiest man alive 😮
ОтветитьI cry every time I see this 😢 my dad had a massive heart attack and a young lad of 15 and a nurse kept him going saving his life to give us a further 10 years with him
Ответитьim currently doing a course on first aid and this was one of the videos I have to watch and truly I find it scary and traumatising really but it is essential to know its a life skill that can literally save a live. Paramedics, doctors are real heroes of our world really I can not express how grateful I am for these wonderful people and what they do.
ОтветитьScary.
ОтветитьWeird to have someone in the Office get sick. The Good News is though the Job is stressful and made his heart sick and probably other factors, this Man was in the Best of Hands when this happened!!!! ❤❤ Great job Dispatch Crew!!!! He was very lucky!!!! Highly trained, focused and quick!!! 😊
ОтветитьTalk about being at the right place at the right time ❤
ОтветитьChris how are you now? Did you ever find out what the underlying problem was? You look healthy and in good shape
ОтветитьAs a PA student, practicing on the sim patient vs CPR in real life was very different. Perfect on sim patient. I could use work on real patient in terms of allowing recoil. I had right rhythm to "staying alive" song in my head.
ОтветитьYou guys are heroes 🦸♂️ yayyy
Ответитьperfect people to have there when this happens
ОтветитьThere's no words to describe how horrible this situation is, he was so very lucky that it happened with his colleagues right there.
ОтветитьTalk about being at the right place at the right time. I have not experienced many successful resuscitations so this was impressive to watch
ОтветитьAren't they going a little fast for CPR? I have to assume this is just a BBC recreation
ОтветитьDid not know you do chest compressions if patient is breathing or has a pulse...?
ОтветитьThanx everyone who uploaded this video on the channel .. I am also a nurse and now more motivated for giving immediately. cpr..
ОтветитьAmazing job by two professional life-savers and so glad that Chris had a very positive outcome. As a NHS Resuscitation Officer, I use this film all the time to help emphasise two particular aspects of CPR/defibrillation. The first is EARLY EVERYTHING! Just look at the quality of outcome when there is no delay in recognising the arrest and starting CPR/defibrillation. The second is possible SEIZURE during cardiorespiratory arrest. Everyone who learns CPR must be made fully aware of the possible presence of seizure and agonal breathing. If they do not know about this, they may stop CPR thinking that the person is coming round or could not possibly in cardiorespiratory arrest because they are moving. Knowing and being comfortable with this is essential and helps the responder stay calm and just take it in their stride. Just a shame the theatrical/Hollywood version of CPR never includes this, just an actor laying perfectly still to attention.
ОтветитьDeus é bom ele existir
ОтветитьComo Deus é maravilhoso em tudo que faz ai de nós se nós fosse a sua misericórdia
ОтветитьNot a pretty sight my dad did the same thing but it was from a pulmonary embolism but he wasnt so lucky... signing up for my emt courses in september.
ОтветитьTo the people saying that the compressions were not top-notch nobody cares the guy is alive and they saved his life so nobody cares if they were not 100% correct on how they performed CPR
ОтветитьEducational Question, why wasn't O2 applied right away?
ОтветитьVery touching video. It was moving to see a fraternity of men care deeply for one another.
ОтветитьHEMS paramedics are awesome
ОтветитьJULY 2022 I performed CPR on my mum for 6 mins until ambulance crew arrived unfortunately it wasn’t meant to be 😢 I’m a dental nurse
and have do yearly CPR training , I haven’t done any since that day as the thought of training on a doll knowing I did it for real on my mum has traumatised me for life. Luckily my work are very good about it
That precordial thumb, I’ve done it a couple of times but never had this outcome. Of course it’s all about compressions but I’d like to think that helped too. Good job!
ОтветитьWHY DID YOU GUYS CALL A GROUND AMBULANCE BUT TRANSFERRED BY AIR?
Ответить"I never got the aircraft out so fast" Oh well that's nice to know you go slower for the rest of us mate... 😂
Ответитьwhy did it take so long for them to call 999?
ОтветитьWow. What are the chances this happens to an ambulance guy at work with the doctore and medics right there. Insane
ОтветитьI suppose it's old now, but I want to re-iterate the Thanks to Chris Solomons for giving his permission for this video to be used on medical training courses. The help from it is probably incalculable.
ОтветитьTalk about being in the right place at the right time … thank God! He could have been on the drive in - very lucky guy to have his buddies right there knowing exactly what to do. Kudos to them all! ❤️🇨🇦🙏
ОтветитьChest compressions, aren't they too fast?
ОтветитьVery lucky man
ОтветитьWhat's the name for when someone on cardiac arrest lifts their arms? I remember it was named after someone
ОтветитьSmoker ? Died ?
ОтветитьRespect. I lost my dear dad at 58 … 20 years ago . He died alone in his home 🥲. Heart breaking . Heart disease is a killer
