New Sub 👍🏼
ОтветитьThis was awesome! So inspiring and helpful!
ОтветитьCongrats man! It’s ultra inspiring !
ОтветитьI ran my first marathon 3 weeks ago. Strong for the first 21, struggled 21-25, finished strong. Didn’t fuel enough. I’m 6’3 195 and was taking in one honey stinger every 45 minutes; which is about 100 calories, 20g carbs… electrolytes and water at every mile station too. I think I just going to experiment more and shoot for a 50k later this year 🙏🏼 new sub, love the channel so far
ОтветитьAt what point during edits did he regret the hat strap?
ОтветитьCongrats. Love your videos. Thank you for sharing your journey.
ОтветитьReally good ! Looked like fun! Also doing my first ultra (not 100 miles) soon 👍😁
ОтветитьBig inspiration - congrats my G!!
Ответитьone the best documentaries that i have seen ... you are an inspiration , if you ever feel down or feel like bad just know even though you can't see us we can and we are inspired by you and hope for everything good in life matt choi. You are an amazing person
ОтветитьGreat video! I'm 6'3 170 and planning to do my first ultramarathon within the next year. However, I want to put some more muscle mass on with a goal of getting to a lean 190. I'm looking to gain muscle mass, but I don't want to sacrifice my running goals and was curious what you currently do and if you have any advice?
ОтветитьI struggled with my knee on my first 50k aswell, i feel the pain mentally and physically about going down hill with that knee i had the same thing happen to me (meniscus tear) such a bummer. This is an inspiring video. God bless you bruh 🫡
ОтветитьThank you for what your sharing Bro.😎
ОтветитьInspirational stuff Matt Love your stuff and have learnt so much Keep pushing !
ОтветитьI want 100 so bad! I’m going to do it!!!!
ОтветитьGreat content as usual. Can I ask, what is it you are spraying on your legs before massaging them? Some type of heat spray?
ОтветитьNobody:
Matt: So I ran only 300 meters and then I stopped...
As an active duty military person, this mentality is 100% a winning mentality. Good on you for spreading it. Keep up the great work man!
Ответитьloving the content brother!
ОтветитьMatt, you're an inspiration. Keep the hustle lifestyle going! Be limitless.
Ответитьhow did you fix your IT pain?
ОтветитьWell done on your 100miler!! Welcome to the club! Jumping in at the deep end! But many lessons learned and all making you stronger for the next challenge! We've all been there. Well done, the pain will fade but you won't forget the experience, Nice work.
ОтветитьGonna be my first one too!
ОтветитьMy longest distance is 19 miles. How long do you think it would take for me to at least run the 50 mile ultra marathon?
ОтветитьBig congrats on achieving this!
ОтветитьFeel like he's just riffing off of Nick Bare's videos, even moved to Austin. Except doesnt have a company he is making content for
ОтветитьThis video is awesome. Thank you very inspirational. A lot of knowledge. I will be doing my first 100 mile race in Westfield Nj on July 22nd 2023
Ответитьwhat shoes do you wear for ultramarathon?
ОтветитьThere's nothing like the ultra community/ atmosphere! When I think of ultras, my first thoughts are fun, friendly, and food. What other races feed you quesadillas, soup, grilled cheese etc DURING a race!? 😆 Only after those things does "pain" hit the list. Like he said, it's just a part of the day you expect. If you can do a marathon, you can do a 50k. The jump in distance isn't huge, but the shift in experience and mentality is amazing!
ОтветитьDude I get lost in thought listening to you get deep in your lessons bro.
Ответить🔥🔥🔥🔥👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
ОтветитьStarting to wonder if we breed superhumans on earth.
ОтветитьGreat vid Matt, love the content.
ОтветитьMan this Is so motivating!I just ran my 1st Marathon today,I had a belief that I couldn't be that guy but I proved myself wrong! It only showed me that I can do anything.I will continue to keep raising the bar!Great job on your ultra so impressive!!!👊🫡
ОтветитьBro watching this has inspired me to go run ultra marathon but obviously I not right away maybe in my twenties right now I’m 15 and the most miles I have ran so far is 7 miles and I thought that was a lot boy was I wrong😂😂
ОтветитьThat’s Top G stuff bruh! Good job 👍👍
ОтветитьSo dope bro!
ОтветитьWise man
ОтветитьGreat work👊 Ihavent even done half marathon as i am still targeting sub 1 10k. But this video awakens a curiosity of "what if" i can do that too🙏🏻
ОтветитьFantastic Matthew! I am currently prepping for the Grindstone. It's just under two months away at this point. Great video! May I ask what your training was like leading into it? And are there any pointers possibly that didn't make it into this video? Thanks!
ОтветитьYou rock!!! I hope I get to meet you if you’re doing NY this year!😊
ОтветитьGood video bro 🙏... I'm take everything you said and implement it into my jiu-jitsu journey and my half marathon endeavors..
ОтветитьVery nice film.
ОтветитьMatt I have been trying to deal with IT band issues throughout the years what have you done to heal properly?
ОтветитьAmazing and very inspiring!
Ответитьis Leadville loading......
ОтветитьThe IT Band is one of the most common issues for runners (2nd?). Every step feels like a razor on your leg. Mine was mile 18 of my first marathon. It is really, really hard to keep going through that.
Lots of respect for working through that!
congratulations on learning that limits are self imposed. It took me much longer to figure that out.
ОтветитьI'm mentally ready for a 100 miler, I just got to physically get there first. It's gonna happen tho
