RECONNECTING ROOTS returns with an exciting new season, exploring the topics that make up everyday life in America. In season four, host Gabe McCauley meets with a variety of episode guests to discuss the history of houses and home ownership, firefighting and fire safety, photography, weather forecasting, and more. This season, alongside designer Jeff Garner, Gabe also examines how we went from using clothing as a form of survival to a way of expressing personal style. Then, joined by actress and gamer Felicia Day, Gabe dives into the games that have changed American society and explores how and why we play. Finally, Gabe breaks bread with chef Mashama Bailey to understand how American mealtimes and food choices have evolved.
