how did you attach the base to the crates?

I've seen other DIY channels here on YT make the crates instead of buying them.

If you were to use legs would you nail those in? I made one of these about a year ago and my legs are becoming pretty loose. I've tried super glue (doesnt work) and nails. And the more I try to get it fixed, the more the wood (from where the leg is) gets pulled off and stuck to the leg. I don't want to have to make a new one if there is any way possible to get this fixed. Any tips are appreciated. Thanks!

Good tip about the cost. Buy crates on sale. Only cost me $45 total for crates and material.

Dang. Only 70 bucks to build that table, that’s amazing. It’s beautiful. Also thanks for adding pros and cons. I didn’t think about it how messy would be if something spilled. Great to know ahead of time.
