keel hauling comes to mind for that girl !!!! keep up the banter and fun, soooo enjoy you guys thanks for sharing
Ответитьhello I think I lost my attempt to comment We owned AND cruised and lived aboard a 40 foot adams forty for 16 years. I encourage you to sand clean the rust spots and finish with a strong roughing up of the area with phosphoric acid
using a brass brush . this changes rust to phosphoric oxide. let it sit over night and then clean with acetone and paint with your best paint . Again, ddo use phosphoric acid with a brass brush last before painting. Regards Don
Have you discovered phosphoric acid yet?
Ответитьi have a steel boat too and in my opinion that will rust again. i only use red lead paint and paint mixed with owatrol
ОтветитьTime to get a good angle grinder and a pile of disks and wire wheels. A drill just isn't enough. I would learn how to weld also. You will get good at fairing eventually. Good advise below also.
ОтветитьNice guys!!
ОтветитьTercoo rotary blasters are a steel boat owner’s friends. Suggest you search them up online. Cheap, easy, fast corrosion removal and leaves the metal surface with just the right coarseness to be ready to paint.
ОтветитьBryony, you are delightfully mad!...Great fun though.🤗
ОтветитьTime to convert to air tools. One can even connect then to a dive cylinder for under water work in emergency. A proper needle gun will take care of the tiniest rust hiding in a corner.Small 50 liter air compressor is all thats needed.
ОтветитьThe jokes were en pointe in this one i will say haha <3
