idk if selling a 2020 chip in 2024 in a high end product is the right move. if you just wanted to get a vr headset out that had eye tracking and bad specs you shouldve made it cheaper so youre atleast the "go to" eye/ facetracking headset.

Can I use my index controllers and my 3.0 trackers with it without needing a space calibrator?

I would buy it in a heartbeat if it had pancake lenses and oled, I would even add 250 euros to the price.
[The Meta Quest 3s costs 200 euros less than the Quest 3 because it doesn't have pancake lenses].

It's surprising that this product is priced at $1500 in South Korea.

I was so excited until I realized it looked more like a 2020 headset. I'm still buying a MQ3.

The quest 3 blows this out of the water this is a dead product on arrival, listen to your customers and salvage what you can until you come up with something that can compete in the current market. Also make it smaller and lighter not to mention affordable. The htc vive 2 may have been good but the market has changed you can't just keep doing the same thing over and over again.

The lenses are fine. Just give us 8gb of Ram and the XR2+ Gen 2 processor. Why did you opt for the old chip set?

The Headset sticks so far out, it looks like its gonna feel like a brick is strapped to your head.

Htc failed with lens

For $1000 you get a VR headset with:
-2448x2448 Per eye resolution
-120 degree fov
-90hz-120hz refresh rate
-hand tracking
-eye tracking
-facial/body tracking support

Not bad, but it won't be enough to upgrade from a Quest 3 and PSVR2 headset.

Como ponéis lentes Fresnel casi en 2025!!??

Tenía esperanzas por la importancia de una empresa como HTC... Pero no tiene sentido ni para empresas.

Es tan difícil un visor con lentes pancake como unas bigscreen beyond, pico 4 ultra o Quest pro o Quest 3??? o unas cristal asfericas como las pimax crystal light? O las somnium VR1?

Y luego el peso.... No lo ponéis por ningún sitio porque seguro que es una burrada, las lentes de cristal pesan bastante ok... Pero que menos que unas pancake???

Y luego LCD pufff en serio??? Que mejores que un Qled con local dimming, ya no digo OLEd o microOLED

Y displayport ❤ no hace falta procesador... Y si lo pones que sea actual no uno como el que traen unas Quest 2 porque ya os limita a no poder tener wifi 7 o más cámaras, es que es de cajón!!

El FOV es suficiente y tracking inside-out ok
En fin, a seguir esperando a otro visor vuestro o de la competencia.

Parece que no queréis vender el producto, con lentes Fresnel y LCD sale muerto en 2025 y más a ese precio... teniendo por menos de la mitad las pico 3 link, las PSVR2 (con OLED) que van por displayport y pecan de Fresnel 🤦🏻

You're not supposed to make money selling hardware you're supposed to sell software what are you guys doing? Why is it so expensive? those specs this headset should be priced around $350 and im not even exaggerating.

these lenses and display are the main problem.
everything is an upgrade but not on the important parts.

Well I certainly hope that you're back in the game. For me it comes down to the sweet spot, FOV, and binocular overlap.

I was interested in buying it until I saw that it has an LCD screen and Fresnel Lenses. Vive has improved over the years, but it still falls short of meeting my expectations. I have previously owned the original Vive and the Vive Pro Eye, and I am currently using the Index and Quest Pro. Hopefully they can still fix this before release ?!? and please have a nice quality mic like the index

everyone wants quest 3 style pancake lenses and OLED. It's not possible guys. Pancake lenses eat a lot of light, OLED is just too dark. Micro OLED is a thing but that's a whole different style of headset.

I will buy it to play ghosts of tabor full 4K and vrchat with trackers
