I stay with my Lexus NX. That BMW looks weird and cheap specially on the backside, also the interior has too much plastic. In matters of reliability, it’s the Lexus crown.

It’s way better. Better drive, better tech. It’s far better in person than on video I promise you. No offense to Lexus, it’s nice but I have gotten more compliments on my x3 than any car I’ve owned

I ordered a NX 350h FSport and it will be with me from March on. Had to choose between BMW, Mercedes and Lexus and I choosed the Lexus because I much more for my Money with the NX instead the other german Brands and i‘m german..🙃

Its not even a fair comparison. At least have the performance version of the NX to compare to.

As an owner of RX450h 3 5 litre and driver of NX too, the new engines (2.5 turbo) are horrible and agricultural. Very unrefined, too. Lexus, if you dont do anything about this, you will lose customers. I would very possibly opt for mercedes GLE next time as BMW are very stiff on the seat. Not comfortable at all.

In my oponion quite useless to compare a BMW with a Lexus, even the brands want to catch customers in the same pond. But basically the spirit of the brands are so diffferent. The lexus is more about the touch and feel, a cosy cabine more nice materials for sure compared to the kew X3, which might have some newer tech (not always so usefull actually) but its material use is really a step down now compared to the existing NX. Which still offers real leather., in the Bmw even.not possible anymore i think it's all sensatec, fancy name for plastic. Bmw is more performance oriented but yeah if we are honest these are suvs they are supposed to be practical and comfy in the first place. Taste is personal but Lexus is more classy, it ages better. And last but not least those active grills are the first thing that will fail.

As an NX350 luxury model owner there are a few things here I want to say.
I do like the outside of the BMW x3 a little better. But when is a touch screen when you're driving just a little bit too much. So what I learned is the manual buttons on the NX for some of the important things is priceless. Driving the more modern screen is so distracting I can see an accident waiting to happen. The interface is so much more simplistic with the NX but still has a lot of features at least everything you need. The interior of the NX 350 luxury model is beautiful. I do like the option to open my sunroof. I do like the reclining seats in the back. Headspace is limited for sure it's enough but the hair touching he's right. I haven't sat in the BMW X3 but I don't think either one of them has a plush comfortable feel to them.
So for long trips, both of them,as far as I'm concerned, lack a comfortable seat feel. But for that price point I certainly wouldn't want cheap plastic parts as in the BMW.
For the functionality alone which to me is practicality when driving I'll take the Lexus all day long. Not to forget reliability on the Lexus as long as it's Japan made is still the best in the market. I will say compared to my Acura dealer Lexus needs to get their luxury car dealerships together.. I only have the one in Clearwater Fl to compare to, but it's terrible.. and feels like a low end dealership.
The Dealership experience was what kept me going back to the Acura.. for that reason now I wish I stayed with an Acura. Lol...

Love the video!!! The Lexus NX was more classy and says luxury!!! I’m going to stick with old money and staying classy. The only thing I liked about the X3 was the grill and the lighting but Lexus always gets better so, I’m not worried about that.

Lexus people are not flash the super rich love them, X1, 2, 3, 5, are so ugly what have they done. No wonder factories are closing.

Side profile wise I don't like how the NX has those black pieces around the wheel area and bottom as they don't match the color of the car reminds me of a Subaru.

I sat in the new 2025 BMW X3 M50, and I took a video of the interior…Pressing on the passenger side portion of the dash there was severe creaking. I also noticed that the materials used along side the upper door panels were actually lifting away from the panel itself. Everything seemed glued on and very plasticky. No panoramic moonroof any longer. Just a fixed piece of glass that caused a lot of heat to come into the car very quickly. I was very underwhelmed at my experience, and the fact that BMW is not making a true M variant for this car. The interior lighting is very gimmicky, definitely does not feel upscale whatsoever.

BMW all the way!! although I like Lexus and I enjoyed my NX then got the RX, but the RX was too big, so I opted for the BMW and love it!

Lexus are and will never be like the BMW.

I always stop at look when I see any BMW, Lexus vehicles all look similar, it is in both cases a design decision. If I was in the market to upgrade from my RAV4 I’m definitely visiting the Lexus dealer. Reliable Toyota engineering.

Another nice review Dustin. Currently I own 2016 RC 350 AWD Luxury package which I ordered and waited 5 months to arrive back in 2016. I love my car, a solid daily reliable car. Unfortunately, in a couple of years I may have to switch to a crossover because of their higher sitting position. The current Lexus design outlook does not look good to me at least. However, the Genesis GV70 caught my attention. In S. Korea the refreshed model with 27" OLED was introduced this summer and perhaps will become available in mid 2025 in USA. Have you done a comparison between NX and Genesis GV70? What do you think?

Ok, the Lexus may break down less, the interior may be a bit more luxurious, but I don't like the overall design. I don't like the weird lines. When I'm over 70, maybe I'll switch to a Lexus.

I just love the Lexus. BMW just doesn't do it for me. The X5 is better in my eyes but the RX for me genuinely has that wow factor. In this case I feel the X3 has taken a step back in design especially the exterior. I take the NX all day. Epic video Dustin

I bought a 2024 Lexus NX 350 Turbo and absolutely love it, plenty of luxury amenities for me but what made the difference from a Lexus versus BMW is the reliability nobody can beat a Lexus

Good for BMW for keeping visible pipes on ICE models - if ICE buyers wanted EVs, then they’d buy EVs. They’re not the same thing.

we traded our 2017 lexus mx in for a 2022 bmw x3 m40i and have not had any issues and love on the driving is compared to lexus. A lot more tech and the bmw advance drivers assistance, and the extra trunk space compared to the lexus won over

X3 a million times.
