"Dollar Tree Plus" sucks, that merge wasn't handled correctly. Lots of missed opportunities, disappointing. Maybe now they are learning and will figure out how to make the merge pop off right, who knows. Family Dollar is needing MORE of the 1.25 Dollar tree merchandise and grocery. Dollar Tree needs to ditch that plus section shit and implement more 2$ 3$ 4$ snd 5$ items anywhere in the store they want to of family dollar merchandise. Strategic swapping isn't that damn hard, that Plus is a let down its always the same stuff as well.

Great hacks! Dollar Tree definitely does its restocking on Fridays. I stopped by my local DT this past Friday around 1:00 pm. I was unable to shop all the aisles because associates were restocking with huge carts that almost completely blocked some aisles. I would have been better off leaving and coming back a few hours later.

I have the walmart app on my phone so when i go to dollar tree,dollar general,aldi , ollies,target and other discount stores including hardware /plumbing dept. If it is a brand scan barcode and will tell you price a walmart so you can compare price and size to find out best value. Also i have found cleaner for 5.00 on the plus isle to only find it on the same exact thing for 1.25 on the cleaning product isle .

first time I ordered something on our dollar store website it was an ABSOLUTE nightmare as it said it was in the store and waited 2 hours to have them say they had NO idea where it was then they said it was in and took another hour for them to even find it.

I work at dollar tree, your dollar tree is set up different than one up here, we have the clearance up by the registers, we finally got new registers and now are store looks great, I've worked for dollar tree for 5yrs now , love my job...

Most DT registers do not accept coupons.

Their are also 25, 50 and 1¢ items throughout the store until the managers remove the items from the shelf for corperate store credit. You won't find them with out the list which is confidential.

For the discounts, I've had the best luck scanning all the refrigerated section for stickers. One time I found some sausage marked down to 50 cents. I froze it and it was just the same as the regular stuff which is closer to hot dogs than sausage but edible.

i’ve actually noticed that my best Dollar Trees are the ones in lower income areas.
