Is 2nd gear the best to gear to be in when turning corners, and positioning is always left of centre on the road,

When I was doing my lessons and I did a reverse with my trainer , he told me if I am already on the tune over, every other cars has to wait for me to finish . Now you are saying one has to wait . Can you explain more on that

Turnabout has to be banned, cuz ppl are brain dead in Ireland.

What I don't understand is that if there are rules, why don't people follow them? In the Belmayne area, there are at least 40 cars badly parked 24/7 and no one does anything. What's the point of putting so much effort into all this if people don't even follow simple rules?

Here in cavan, my instructor taught me to do the turnabout in 5 turns, and on the last (5th) turn, I've to also signal right, and to dry steer for the 5th turn, does that sound correct?

Is dry steering still okay? I was told by my instructor that dry steering isn't allowed anymore

So I only need to signal once on the first turn, no everytime I move backward and then again forward?

I'm confused, I was in a mock test and my instructor marked me because I didn't park after the turnabout, he didn't ask me to do it, so I thought I didn't have to park on the left. What is the right thing to do? Thanks

Hi Anthony, I’ve my test in the next two weeks, can I repeat what the tester says out loud to make sure we’re on the same page. Could I do commentary for my test or would they just tell me to shut up 😂

Your videos are very good. Thanks for the help. I have one doubt. While we are doing the reverse around the corner is it a problem if the reverse camera is on. Whether we should keep the reverse camera turned off🤔

When I did a test I was marked on the efficiency of turning. He said not to bother with getting the car rolling, just to dry steer. He said they don’t mark for that.

everyone tells everything except how to understand the distance to the curb from the front of the car, on narrow roads this can be critical if you touch it, they will lower the rating, if you don’t get as close to the curb as possible, you won’t be able to do it in three steps.
