Fr Chris- God brought you to me in the perfect moment with your beautiful message. Again, very early this morning, sitting in the dark outside to sit in God's presence in thought and prayers, I was very lost. I found myself feeling alone, abandoned and disappointed in myself as the tears fell down my cheeks. To be honest, I don't remember what I said in my heart other than for the Holy Spirit to be with me. I have a daily routine, began and yet, each time when a Prayer was over, I kept getting lead away to something bigger and more profound which helped heal my heart, mind and soul this morning. I truly believe God brings people in my life in the perfect moments to see that I'm really not abandoned and to see something bigger in the most difficult of circumstances.

Thank you Fr. Chris for the video! I happened to have shared St. Teresa of Avila's teachings on the 9 Levels of Prayer with my fellow parishioners just this past Sunday, as part of the "Path to Holiness" series.

Your information on the 3 stages of the soul taught by St. John of the Cross goes hand in hand with her teachings as they concern the spiritual growth of a person, and each one of us needs to set aside all the personal dreams in order to pursue God and enjoy the beatific of Him through mental prayer.

Thank you for this podcast. I have been suffering in this experience for more than a year, and the most challenging part is feeling abandoned by God. I have been turning to St Faustina for her intercession. I trust in Jesus more fully, encouraged by her diary entries.

I am physically on my way out and I have not gone through the dark night of the soul. I do not know how I would survive without God or knowing that He has me in is Hands. If I do not go through this dark night do I have hope of heaven? 🙏🙏🙏 I have been privileged to be at the death bed of two different people and to say the Divine Mercy Chaplet for them. I have been able to get my extended family to know how important the Divine Mercy is and to know how to say it at a death bed.❤‍🔥 When my mother was dying in a hospital which had a daily mass. The priest that said that mass followed me up after mass and said the Divine Merch Chaplet with me for my mother. She had already been anointed. This priest instructed me on the importance of the Divine Mercy Chaplet and the power that it had if said at the death bed. I will be forever grateful to this priest. My mother was in this hospital for two weeks and was joyful and energetic the whole time. She died while saying the words "I'm fine".❤

A powerful reminder that even in our darkest moments, God's Divine Mercy is always with us. Thank you, Fr. Chris Alar, for sharing this message of hope and trust. 🙏💖
