I'm considering purchasing a 2005 Old high top van ambulance. Is it difficult to get motor insurance for an old ambulance?
ОтветитьYour videos are SO helpful! Thank you for sharing all the things that I don’t know about. I’m in the planning stages of becoming a full time nomad, I want to get a class c and hit the road early next year. I’m taking notes and trying to be as prepared as possible, so your videos are so valuable. Beyond all the useful info, I just love your stories!
ОтветитьExcellent, comprehensive info in a nutshell, well presented. Thanks bunches! Happy & safe travels & be greatly blessed. 👍🙏😊
ОтветитьI wish you had made the statement about the van at the beginning instead of the end.
ОтветитьI learned a lot from your recent RV insurance video, thank you! To request an online insurance quote, I need to know what a “stationary” RV is.
I have no other residence, live/sleep in my RV (in one RV Park), go to work every day and come home to my RV. Is my RV a stationary RV?
Thanks. Cathy
If you ever come back to San Francisco area my partner and I would love to take you out for dinner.
ОтветитьWe unfortunately had an incident where my kid had almost a million dollars in medical bills due to an Uninsured Driver. When we tried to get some reimbursement, we found out that our state has virtually no penalty for uninsured driving. Now I just assume no one has insurance except me.
ОтветитьI had Progressive---paid $93/month---then flat tire----they sent an idiot without the correct equipment to change my RV tire. I asked him if he was told it was in an RV----YES.
WTF???
By the time they got to my RV (5 hours after initial call) Progressive told me 30 minutes. Left me there on the side of a back road in Georgia, and said he would be back in the morning. EVEN then, when he came to change the tire(still without the correct equipment to handle lifting an RV) He then proceeded to use his truck (lift on back) and in the process cut my electrical cord to a dolly. NEVER again, PROGRESSIVE.
Thanks again Robin for your sharing your wisdom and knowledge. So now I have an RV yippee Skippy I have to get insurance so I went back to this and took notes and I appreciate it so much thank you thank you thank you hope to see you out
ОтветитьWhat about if you are towing a car behind your RV?
ОтветитьWhat state do you use Please
ОтветитьHeyyy! Purchased my RV today pick up next week looking for insurance Thank you ma'am 🎯
ОтветитьVacation Liability? I was told by a GoodSam rep that certain RV Parks will not let you in unless you have it? How much?
ОтветитьFYI Casey Roman sent me here... Thank you
ОтветитьThank You So Much! Your knowledge answered many concerns and your helpful tips also got through. Best and most condensed video yet! Cheers!
ОтветитьMost grateful for this valuable information. But let's face it. At the end of the day, insurance is a big, fat global Ponzi Scheme.
ОтветитьGood info, but unfortunately this video does not apply to conventional travel trailer insurance.
On Progressive quote page, it does not mention anything about liability. In fact, it does not even list liability.
I got my regular auto/truck insurance, but all I want is a basic liability insurance for my travel trailer. I don't need collision or compressive because I treat my travel trailer as a disposable item if it is damaged.
Thanks again. I listened when you first put this video out. It stayed in my brain. Cause I finally need all of this info. Bless you girl. Love your channel ❤️
ОтветитьGREAT INFORMATION! First off your talking speed is just fine and very considerate for those with connection problems. We have learned a lot, and...
Subscribed and mashed the bell.

Thank you so helpful
ОтветитьThank you tremendously for such an informative video. Like with your other videos I appreciate how you break things down into layman speak. Do you, or have your subscribers, have any input into insurance coverage for rig and tow vehicle through Good Sam? Thanks
ОтветитьNicely done. Great information, well presented. Yeah its a lot to absorb but I do not think you are talking too fast at all.
ОтветитьCame across this in a Search. I will, hopefully, be getting my rig within the next week to ten days. Now I know what to ask and look for when I shop for insurance.
ОтветитьHi Robin! This was very informative but is there insurance that pays for a place to stay when your rv breaks down and needs repair? I had bought Good Sam but haven’t had to use. Do you recommend this co.? Thank you.
ОтветитьWho else is here because of Cassie Roman?
ОтветитьThanks, Hun ... This was very informative ~
ОтветитьTHANK YOU!! I actually understand it now.... 30+ years later... but hey, better late than never. Thanks again.
ОтветитьThank you this was very educational
ОтветитьRobin, what's the difference between Gap insurance and total cost replacement insurance?
Thank you
I realize you did this video quiet sometime ago, but I am currently in the process of becoming a full time rv r and this was a definite question in my mind! I so appreciate your knowledgeable information that you share, gives me the confidence to get out there on my own! Hope to someday meet up when I get on the road, God Bless and keep you safe and happy!
ОтветитьI know this was awhile ago, but it's 2021 now, and I just talked to my insurance company, Progressive. They just told me that they won't cover me if I'm more than 50% living in my RV, which will be a camper after it's completed. I was supposedly covered while in my RV, which is now sold. They still had me under my address I was living in before I moved into my RV full time. I told them I was moving out of my apartment, and I gave them my PO Box. I didn't have a residential address at that time. Then when I got an RV, I told them I was gonna be full time in my RV. This conversation happened, I swear.
So, after coming near 2 years out of my apartment, being back and forth in my RV or staying at someone's house for one reason or another, I was told that my car was identified under the zip code from my apartment. This isn't the same zip as my PO Box, but it's in the same town. None the less, I might assume that my former address would be associated with that zip. This was infuriating to me. This was a questionable area with some bad (not all) people, people who bust mail boxes and steal mail, etc. At least twice by this time (and probably more) Progressive was told that I was full time, and reminded that I didn't live in my former apartment.
Today I called them to get my new towing vehicle insured. I proceeded to reiterate the full timing concept. Now it seems that they are catching on, because suddenly they say that they won't cover full time RVing, even though I apparently was covered with my former rig. Well, they said that they won't cover me if I call my towing vehicle my house. So I changed it to my second vehicle, and my camper (when it's ready) will be called my full time RV. They're confused, but I'm not. How the heck do y'all full timers get passed this BS? You said Progressive. I've had it for years, but now I wanna look around.
I'll add the obvious, that full time RVers, car dwellers, are most in need of coverage considering that we keep our stuff, many of which keep, all, of their stuff, in their vehicles.
Great video! Is your policy a commercial policy?!
ОтветитьThank you
ОтветитьReally good information.
ОтветитьI didn't feel that you were talking too fast. I did have to watch the video a couple times only because there was a wealth of info. Thank you.
ОтветитьYou ever heard of YTube channel Matt’s RV Teviews? He does detail tours and briefly covers some of these things too. Also Wil&Jen or Wil and Jen
ОтветитьThank you very much.
ОтветитьWhat if I didn’t have full time policy but was a full or part timer? Could you just say you were using it?
ОтветитьHi! Thanks for this amazing content! I have a small horse trailer that I use for business. I attach it to my car to travel, it is not a trailer that can be driven. It’s not an RV. My main concerns are theft and damage. What type of insurance/ coverage do I need? Thank you in advance.
ОтветитьThis seemed very informative! Thanks !!
ОтветитьThank you for taking the time to make this video. Brilliantly done
ОтветитьI have a question. Geico told me that I don't have to have bodily injury or property damage or personal injury protection because it's on the car an the truck. Is this true?
ОтветитьI live in a Fulltime RV Park In an RV.
I have flood insurance
My water heater busted and flooded the bathroom, partial kitchen and ding area.
All water was emptied and dried.
A year later I noticed my floors felt uneven. I called my insurance company and they stated it is not covered under the policy only if the damage was evident during the time of the flood.
This sounds off to me because it did happen because of the busted heater.
I did report it to my agent at the time.
Is this correct that it’s not covered.
Thank you. I am changing states now and this is tremendous information for me.😊
ОтветитьThank you for sharing! Very very helpful!
ОтветитьGreat info I’m going full time in a used class C. I was already looking at progress but now I have a better understanding of the different components of the insurance.
ОтветитьWow! Outstanding. Thank you. So much quality information and clearly presented. Thank you.
