ОтветитьSometimes, that American fascination does detract from the other people helping out. In this example, it sounded like that one journalist had sour grapes even other Frenchmen called him out for.
ОтветитьHe put it together
ОтветитьThis channel and Morbid Midnight are my favorite mountaineering story channels. Thank you so much for what you do!
ОтветитьWe are back with Mount Blah!!!!
ОтветитьWhat a story & awesome archive footage!!!
ОтветитьThe Eiger! I saw an excellent movie about that tragic event. Best thing they could have done. Really fascinating. Now I want to see it again. 😏
That mountain is terrifying just to look at! The thought of climbing it is enough to give me anxiety. These guys are incredible. 🌹
Great story, well told. But FYI, it’s pronounced Biv-whack, not bivvy-ack.
ОтветитьBoosting the algorithm ✌️
ОтветитьHow selfish and out of touch do you have to be to take dangerous risks that 99.999999% of the population of know better to avoid get faced with death and cry for multiple people to now take even bigger risks to come save your pathetic a**. Mountain climbers and cave explorers are some of the worst people ever. As far as I'm concerned you climbed up there by yourself so you've put a ring on it. My advice would be, when you realize you can't come down on your own be a man. Take 5he quick way down. Then I would call you brave and fully justified. NOBODY CARES tha5 you climbed a rock. As things are you get about as much respect as you would if you had a seashell collection NONE
ОтветитьSounds like fun. 🙄
ОтветитьAmazing work
ОтветитьConfused here..."just 15 years before had never been climbed". Does that mean it was climbed between 15 years "before" and when they climbed? Or that they were the first to climb? Or...I don't know what was meant by that.
ОтветитьThe climbers of a rescue mission do not care about publicity. They care about the other climbers who are stuck or injured and those who are with them.
ОтветитьExcellent presentation, excellent narration, and unobtrusive music !
ОтветитьShame on Rene. Who cares who got credit. All that matters is the lives were saved or lost. Get over yourself.
Ответитьpeople should never leave their house and watch their phone 24/7 so rescuers dont have to do their jobs
ОтветитьRehash again and again
ОтветитьWhat a daft thing to do.
ОтветитьThank you for bringing back your original opening door in the woods intro !!! Makes the channel 10k better!!!
ОтветитьBivouac is a French word that you pronounce incorrectly. It should be BIV-oh-ack, rather than "BIV-ee-ack." If you google 'bivouac pronunciation,' there will be a little play button you can press to hear it pronounced. Keep up the great work. I appreciate that you try to pronounce the French names correctly. It's not easy.
ОтветитьWhy do people even do this? Who sees a gargantuan mountain and then procceds to say 'i need to climb this'? There's nothing up there but death! There's nothing up there that can impact humanity in any meaningful way.
Ответитьthe American dihedral route.. just before that you showed a photo of Royal Robbins
