This is a good series, but I wish Tim Hutton knew his character better. I don't understand the pseudo New York accent since Archie Goodwin was born and raised in Ohio. Anyone who has read any of Rex Stout's books would know this.
ОтветитьHave always like the Nero Wolfe books. Sure would be helpful if you included CLOSED CAPTIONING!
ОтветитьNerowulf is wonderful to watch him put people in their place without using curse words and he's an excellent teacher of how to demand people respect you on your terms before you can go any further
Ответить👍👍
ОтветитьI've been watching the the series and I noticed that this an esmel
ОтветитьI had to look twice to realize that the woman was Kari Matchett
ОтветитьOh. Love this. Although Kramer does give me pause to think about people and behaviour.
Thank you
God bless
This was such a well done show , I still can’t believe it stopped so soon.
Ответитьnot one of the best episodes - some characterizations to exaggerated (army officer - murder victim - female character)
ОтветитьLove this show, n the characters are wonderful.
ОтветитьJuly 2023 -- I am STILL watching and loving Maury and Timothy et al. in these miracles. Thanks to @Usse Harr for providing delight and exhiliration to my life.
ОтветитьI just discovered this series this past week. Absolutely love it!!!!
ОтветитьTerrible.
ОтветитьWish there were a hundred more.
ОтветитьEnjoyed the movie. Thanks.
ОтветитьI LOVE this tv-series, have watched and re-watched each episode too-many times to count; I really wish that A&E had not cancelled the series — the Actors were just hitting their stride when it ended in the second season!
(‘Archie’, ‘Fritz’ and the regular young frmale Actors steal the show — to Me!)
I love how Fritz held the gun on the couple. He stared them down and didn’t move a muscle until Wolfe instructed him to take the imposter to the kitchen
ОтветитьRex Stout, like Nero Wolfe, held strong opinions. This is an opinion of the military the way The Doorbell Rang gives his views of the FBI. Thanks for these videos!
ОтветитьAfter seeing the extended version on the last episode, it would be Nice if they did an extended version on all the episodes if they kept the extra footage
ОтветитьThank you 😊
ОтветитьThe series is wonderful. The cast is perfection. But this was too artistic. It was not popular enough to survive. It is now a cult classic. But even it is not popular enough too make real money.
Ответить🤩🤩🤩💖💖thank you
ОтветитьThank you!
ОтветитьSome of the acting truly sucks. Plimpton being one.
ОтветитьWord of the day jocosity. I swear my vocabulary has increased watching this show.
ОтветитьGoodwin and Wolf are great pair together. I have to smile at the use of the same six or so characters in every episode playing different parts.
ОтветитьThe “players” are mostly Canadian actors and the series was shot in Toronto. Somehow, as a Canadian, I recognized fellow countrymen. Don’t quite know how. Subtle accent differences?
ОтветитьRichard Waugh, the Major, is a Canadian actor, who is also the character Albert Wesker in Resident Alien.
ОтветитьWry episode.
ОтветитьCRAMER to WOLFE: "Can't say as I blame you." The most empathetic thing C has ever said to W in the whole series. I'm in a state of shock!
ОтветитьI haven’t read the books, I only imagine them being awesome if the series is so perfectly done, love it ! Too bad they didn’t go longer, I wonder why ?
ОтветитьThe long version is wonderful! What a loss the original A&E network was (before it became cheap and tawdry)
Ответить❤ where is the booger inside your nose hahaha it's between your toes❤ we won't get crusty crispy
ОтветитьEnjoyed the movie. Thanks.
ОтветитьCan you imagine Netflix or Amazon trying to do something like this?
ОтветитьOpening chords & rhythm 'borrowed' from "Cherokee."
ОтветитьWorst titles ever
ОтветитьArchie Goodwin uses the term sanguine. Now, I knew from my study of languages in high school that, as a noun, sanguine refers to blood, and, as an adjective, sanguine has an archaic meaning of bloody or blood thirsty. However, in this instance, as an adjective, sanguine means optimistic or positive. How the heck does a word go all the way from meaning blood thirsty to meaning optimistic ?

ОтветитьI fell in love with Mr. Wolfe and Archie back with Sidney Greenstreets radio programe..that was a portal to the TV Shows, and other Radio versions of these 2.
ОтветитьAlice in Wonderland esk
Scene with generals
NOW we are at War with these same war nutz😮
Grizzle in the crab meat, sugar in the beer, booyah!
ОтветитьI’m nothing to you🎉😂🎉
