Pretty damn good with the stock TX expo. Why are you challenging people to beat 4 loops? You got shares in HH's spares department? Got a challenge for YOU Tony. Throw it into the air and flip it in one move (just 10% start-up throttle as you use for the hand launch in the vid).

Are HH planning something bigger like this ? a competitor to the gaui 330 as a simple fpv plattform ? something cheaper but in the same size for us with dx6 that just want to cruise in the near neighborhood ?

Great flight Tony ! and exiting "flip" challenge :-) I was wondering what is the difference between X and + setup... According to what you say,it seems the + setup is more agile... Or at least better for flip. Did you tried this setup for flip ?

@Cheugreum Thanks. I haven't tried + mode yet, but I'll give it a try this weekend if it's not too windy. + mode should be more agile from what i have heard from what i have heard.

@multihjalle I'm not sure lol I don't work for Horizon :) It would be cool if they would come out with something bigger and I'm sure they are probably working on one as we speak.

@puggster It needs self inputs like a helicopter. This thing flies so stable that it does not need a self leveling feature which is used mostly for AP stuff. If you can fly a helicopter I am sure you can fly the MQX :) It's very stable and flies just like the MSR and MCPX. I have both of those too so I know haha

DONT BUY FROM AUSTRALIAN DEALERS. BLADE will not repair any of their products not bought in USA. My MQX hit the wall in first 30 seconds of flight and has no visible damage but will no longer fly. I have to dump a $160 heli in the Trash after 1 flight because there is no service available if purchased in Australia, that hurts and makes me feel like giving up the hobby totally. DONT BUY BLADE HELIS IF YOU DONT LIVE IN USA!

Hi Tony, Where do you keep the throttle when you engage a flip? Every time I do a flip, I can get all the way around, but the MQX bounces off the floor or darts to the left or right on the completion of my flip. Can you assist? Thanks!

@50kT nope :)

@mammothtarm When starting the flip I punch full throttle to get the quad to rotate and as soon as it starts the roll I back the throttle off to about 10%. the trick is to not use too much throttle and if you cut off the throttle the motors will shut off. If you have a computerized TX you can use heli mix and use idle up with low stick being 10%.

@asfesesease I find jamming the sticks to the right in X mode to be the fastest. I tried + mode but I prefer X mode more

@ChadWork1 throttle is about 10% as the quad is flipping. The RTF TX flies just as good as a full sized one. However with a full sized TX you can program it to suit your flying style. Have you tired low rates on the RTF TX? it should tame it down a lot

Turns out by luck he is an accredited agent for Horizon and they are supplying a new motor for the MQX. The SR120 I bought though is a complete orphan with a burnt-out servo chip after 1 hour flight + no prangs. I dont want to spend another $90 on this heli so its scrapped. It was not bought from an official supplier so no warranty. Move on..

Walkera Ladybird does flips alot tighter than that. I found full throttle and jam the right stick to the left or right

have you tried takeing it to your local hobby shop and asking them to send it to model flight?

Thanks, I eventually found a BLADE authorised dealer in Australia who was very helpful in replacing the motor and it has been flying fine since then.

jamming it to any corning usually works pretty good :)

Easy haha just take it up high, jam the sticks to one corner, back off throttle slightly, and watch it flip :)

Have you tried this bond to a better but basic quality TX like DX6i?

are you using the stock transmitter? and is the MQX itself completely stock?

is it stock with the 12c battery not the upgraded 25c one?
