Just finished the video. I was thinking: how is a person saved or perhaps more accurately how does a person begin to be saved or how does a person start down the narrow path that leads to eternal life, that is a question. I'm not 100 percent sure, but why are people offended at baptism in water and spirit , really why do they divorce faith from obedience?

To me it's like asking a nurse, what is the most important part of being born physically? Some would say well the baby has to come out of the mother's womb, others say well it has to breath on it's own, others say well they have to cut off the ambilical cord, or he has to get nutrition (milk). Honestly those are all critical things if a baby is going to live and begin to grow to be a man. Why are we debating what is the bare minimum for the new life? Shouldn't we give the baby everything he needs if we have the opportunity?

The whole thing of what is gospel vs how can I take advantage of the gospel (to be saved) is I think misunderstanding and Torbens language doesn't help it. He frequently mixed up the two, but of course he understands the gospel isn't baptism, it is Christ made a way, period.

Ironically the debate of believe only vs believe and obey is a distraction.

Let's go find the person's of peace and help them have a healthy birth into the Kingdom and support them as long as we can until they can walk on their own and run and have babies of their own!

Good points in this video about the Gospel, but right in the beginning of the video you mistake what he says about the sinners prayer, you say he said NO sinners prayer, he says not just he sinners prayer..if you are going to pick something apart, make sure you heard what he says properly. The sinners prayer isn't Biblical either so not sure why it would even be part of the debate. I had a bad experience with Torbens people so I would have to say be careful also...I'm sure he has helped people, but something is wrong which I found out the hard way.

I wanted to get involved but the Lord kept closing the door on potential contacts. I am glad, as I now believe TLR are legalistic. Its their way or the highway! all these new movements always claim THEY are the ones who are doing church according to the book of ACTS! So arrogant! how about a bit of humility Torben! His disciples always attack any criticism emotionally without arguing from scripture. Emotionalism is also a sign of a cult. I am so glad the Lord has saved me time and again from cults!

Thank you brothers. We're seeing TLR's dangerous teaching in the UK. I've also seen this kind of neo-Arianism in it, that Jesus is not God, but just a perfect created man empowered by the Holy Spirit. Very dangerous and is leading many into a false sense of salvation and excluding them from true relationship with Jesus, as his bride awaiting his glorious coming. Beware, as Jesus said: "Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity."

We judge the tree by the fruit like JESUS commands. The gospel that Torben is preaching is bringing LONG LASTING fruit, true FREEDOM. And he’s the believers getting born again are walking MARK 16:17 out. If you being a Christian don’t have the authority to cast out a demon in Jesus name or lay hands on the sick and they recover you have to ask yourself are you missing something? Or is JESUS LYING? READ YOUR BIBLES! 🙏🏻🔥❤️ God lead all the lost to the truth, to the full gospel you paid for with your blood.

The NAR and The Last Reformation are way different things. TLR has been calling out the excesses of the NAR for years.

They don't teach a work based salvation, but a salvation that works.

The only evidence for baptism of the Holy Spirit in Acts is tongues.

The word Gospel means Good News.
It is of course the Good News of the Salvation of Jesus Christ who forgives us our sins thanks to his sacrifice on the cross. So that we may be reconciled to God.

When Torben speaks of the Gospel,
He speaks of course of all that includes: repentance, baptisms, Holy Spirit, this turning away from sin, etc...
In short, it is the new birth.
When Torben speaks of baptisms he logically thinks of the following verse:

I also do not believe our own works save us initially, but are you guys aware that after a person is born again, they must bear good fruit and endure to the end to be saved ? Jesus said every tree that doesn't bear good fruit is cut down and thrown in the fire, Apostle Paul wrote to the churches to not be deceived, that those who practice works of the flesh will not enter the kingdom of God, this even applies to Christian Believers! And it seems you have subscribed to or bought into the idea that faith is a mental assent, well real Biblical faith is words and actions overflow from strong heart belief and confidence in Jesus, therefore obedience to the Gospel by repentance, water baptism and receiving the gift of the Holy Spirit, and the good fruit = good works before ordained for us, and Us enduring to the end = This Is All the Faith that Saved Us. Faith is not a mental assent only. Your obedience to the Gospel, and obedience to Jesus for your whole life journey is what saves you, do not expect a full blown sinner to enter Heaven, we must be obedient.

Correct terms: Cross, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ is the Gospel, and obedience to Acts 2:38 is the response to the Gospel, whereby someone gets born again.

The only thing I would say against you is:-

Salvation is by faith in The Gospel (as 1 Cor 15) defines but...

If you believe, you will repent, Jesus will be Lord, and you will get baptised. Time allowing, after all, some may be on their deathbed.

Faith saves, but faith without works is dead.

It's like the argument repentance is not turning from sin, just a change of mind. Yes, but it leads to turning from sin.

Does Father want all His children baptized in water? YES. End of debate.

So, you live only of blaming others. If now we take Torben out of the picture - is there anything else you have to say?

Thank you for making this video! In the past, I have attended five different kickstarts with TLR. I got to meet Torben and shake his hand. Though I greatly admire TLR, you are right. Torben keeps saying things that sound contradictory to Galatians 2:16. When I asked him to please make a distinction between justification vs. sanctification, he messaged me back that: "baptism is necessary for us to enter the kingdom". Is he saying that those who have faith in Jesus but haven't been baptized will go to hell? I don't know. He stopped responding to me and refuses to clarify. It made my heart sink. But, your video helped me.
