I believe Miuccia Prada gave the artist real copies of her handbags and shoes for the project, I read about it a while ago

Kimberly Perry likes it there. That’s where the inspiration for the song Marfa Prada (The Band Perry) came from.

It’s a show case it’s not an original thought and it’s not done much either because it’s expensive because it is treated as store but it is certainly weird but that’s all it is a show case not a museum.

It’s been a decade or two since I last saw one similar to this it wasn’t Prada but it was a really hi end brand name but by no means an original idea not even close they were suppose to become a trend but again their billed as a store to the tune of a one to a few thousand bucks a month at least that a couple decades ago but great marketing ploy be better of making a store not a show case

i visited texas and ive always wanted to see this place, when i saw it i felt like i was on another planet its so freaky!

it's between Marfa and van horn ,Texas on route 90 I just live down the road east of that place and Marfa texas wants you to come and look at this,that's why it's there

It's not abandoned, it's a sculpture. Wouldn't want to try steal the products since they have sensors so if you take it alarms in the products will go off
