Dad said I could have his 72 but when tough times came rolling through I understood why he couldn't keep his promise so I promised him one day I'd get him one I love my dad more then a chevelle and it may be the king of the muscle cars but it ain't my dad. One day hopefully soon

The 70 chevelle has always been my number one dream car!

I've watched a lot of these donut history car lessons, and it's hilarious how when they get to the 1972, they all turn into a sad story.

My grandpa has a 65' Chevelle 300 Deluxe. It has a Straight six and it has been sitting for more than 30 years. There is a lot of fender damage and pieces of the grill are missing. I'm planning on restoring it for him, even when he says he can do it. But at his age, there is no way it will be done.

My dad had a 1970 Chevelle that he bought from a police impound lot. It didn't have the 454, it had the 350 that was stolen out of a racecar, It was Stupid fast! The engine would rev to 6k and pulled hard the full range of rpm's! It was a dark metal flake red and had black leather bucket seats and was like a new car back in the last 80s still. Sadly he traded it to a guy for a camper and it was stripped down and made into a drag car. If we had kept it in perfect shape, it would be well over a 100,000$ car today! I still remember the chime it made when the key was put in!

I do believe the Buick GS could keep up with it
