Love all the actors, great movie. But when I watched it I noticed it was cut and chopped up many times to where it degraded my ability to understand everything

Good cinematography and south track, good actors for the material but script too convoluted, almost like they shot it, didn't like the edit, rewrote the ending, and shot it again..

they left out the part where John Mason found Donald Sutherland alive and brought him to the doctor.

I always liked the cynical Christian Slater.

The f word wasn’t used back then . Damn was about the extent of it. People today have a far more limited vocabulary, with a cesspool for a heart and mouth. So disgusting. Don’t really care to watch or listen to this filth any further. There are far better things to watch and listen to.

I had trouble telling the male characters apart at times. Need more variety in clothing and hair color. Without the hat on McClure looks like a dufus and the bad guy is the most handsome of the lot. The main hero, John Mason looks a little like a weasel. Which isn't a bad thing since it is more realistic.

Not a bad movie but sad that the settings are so far off the mark... Even at the western fringes of Dakota Territory, it still doesn't look like British Columbia (where these scenes are shot)... lol Too bad they couldn't film this in the real settings. Oh, well... We grew up thinking Oklahoma had snowcapped mountains with the old westerns, so this might as well be as far off the mark, too, eh? :)))

All together a good watch it’s got humor action betrayal and romance very well rounded. The bullets out of the gun was predictable as hell what type of gunslinger or anybody else who’s bout to go into battle doesn’t check their weapons not to mention unloaded and loaded firearms night and day difference in weight
