".....it wasn't totally feral"? Then why put up the deceptive captions? "Wild Jungle Cat"?
To which jungle are you referring? Florida has no 'jungle' in any sense of that word. Please, choose your words more carefully, and try to get better informed, eh?
When cats have a bad experience, such as being bitten by the ants, it will avoid those circumstances in the future. They don't forget. Big cats wounded by humans will kill them if they can.
ОтветитьThree summers ago I had a feral cat coming around. I worked on him (or her) all summer, but could never get any closer than about 5 feet from the cat. Then it disappeared. It was a beautiful black cat that looked healthy and not too old. I've always wondered what happened to it. I hope someone trapped it and took it in. I'll never know, but I still think about that cat. I'm sorry you weren't able to tame this cat, but thanks for trying and for the video. I enjoyed it. Feral cats do live about two years in the wild.
ОтветитьGreat videos, had the right idea the first video with the sardines. It says cat food but, it's really this is what people feed a cat so they are barely alive and ready to break and go to the vet any minute now and they know it food.
Ответитьyou and your videos RULE!!!
Ответитьscary music, lol. But beautiful photography! Loved all three chapters.
Ответитьmaybe the cat smelled the ant poison as well.....
Ответитьthis isn't the same cat as the nocturnal cat from before. That one had spots and a wide face sort of like a bobcat (probably had a bobcat ancestor) and this one looks more like the first one that was trapped and adopted.
Ответитьo my He is gorgeous. what a loss that he roams the jungle rather thna being pampered
ОтветитьDid you ever think of trapping him and forcing domesticating on him? Theoretically, would it be considered cruel to do so? Just a freakin gorgeous cat.
ОтветитьI love your videos, you must be near the coast, what state?
ОтветитьHe looks like mix Bengal and tabby, both cats are beautiful. I got my half long hair Bengal and Calico mix at the shelter , kitten were born in wildlife and her mother must of died she and her liitter mates were found and rescued, she is now a very tame and she is awesome .
ОтветитьThese cats are beautiful.
ОтветитьThere is something primal about watching a 🐈 in the environment. They are so stealthy, if you don't pay close attention, you may not see em. Now, normally house cats are different. I found a bob-cat print out in my field, hope to get some vid. Great video though...
ОтветитьDo you think it is a bad idea to rescue a couple senior cats that are about ot be euthanized at the shelter and put them in a feral cat environment where cats are known to live for years and are fed by the community?
ОтветитьHe looks exactly like the African wildcat. I know cats are originally from Africa and the middle East but domestication caused many cats to lose their dinstinctive grey color and black stripes. This cat still looks like his wild ancestors.
ОтветитьThanks for the great videos. All of them. These cat vids were very good and I appreciate your time, effort, and expense in putting these videos out. This cat has the same attitude, demeanor, and look on its face as the big cats you see in safari videos. It's amazing how closely related they still are after the millennia of breeding house cats. Cheers!
ОтветитьThank you for this series. Engrossing and touching.
ОтветитьGreat video! And I like the background atmospheric music you have going through it too.
ОтветитьThis is great. I wonder, why didn't you move the cat food to another site, with no fire ants? Would that have made a difference? Anyway, you really took good care. Thanks.
ОтветитьIf while looking at them eye to eye you blink slowly pausing with your eyes closed for a few seconds, this is their language for I am no threat to you. It will help with understanding.
ОтветитьThis Tom is probably the female cat's son.
ОтветитьThats not a feral cat. You stole someones cat.
ОтветитьIt is a small Jaguar.
ОтветитьMore feral cat video plz
ОтветитьCute cat
ОтветитьThanks
ОтветитьWhat kind of a snake was that in the tree?
ОтветитьNice study of a wild animal. You could have been a great wildlife camera man. Actually you are a great wildlife camera man .
ОтветитьYou've got some great skills! This was brilliant.
ОтветитьThat's not a jungle cat but okay
ОтветитьEnjoyed your film. Cats are interesting!
ОтветитьVery close pattern! Gorgeous!
ОтветитьMay I ask why you didn't put the food in a different location if you knew he wouldn'teat it? Very sad. Poor fellow.
ОтветитьI hope the kitty stays safe... god bless him.
ОтветитьThat is a beautiful cat ….i mean he is gorgeous and a graceful character
ОтветитьHaha! That was funny when u said here kitty kitty kitty! I have done the same with a feral cat that has come into my backyard in michigan……he didnt come to me!😂😂🤣🤣😁😁. Man i must say, its pretty spooky in that woods there you are walking through….that is some thick habitat..i live on the edge of woods too and out in the country but it isnt nearly as intimidating as your habitat I must say…and the ants , well that is rotten..i was thinking wow that is a nerveous racoon…then u said u had sped up the video! Great video by the way and now im watching them all
ОтветитьLove your documentaries!
ОтветитьAll your subjects' faces are different despite being all brown /black tabbies
ОтветитьWow. I LOVED when you went into the jungle!
ОтветитьTo prevent ants 🐜 from getting in the cats' food , you can put a bowl of food in a bigger bowl filled with water. The bowl of food floats in a MOAT of water. A moat that is impenetrable by anti-water ants
ОтветитьLove it, love it, love it! Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you!
Ответить☹
