Quick tip on the master bow tourney. It does matter how fast you shoot because the first one done gets 2 extra points. I know this because I got all bullseyes as well as the guy next to me and he won because he finished first. I had 70 points and he had 72. or 75 to 78. I forget the exact amount.

I'm later in the game on the 2nd map and still find the combat very cumbersome and unintuitive. Also NPC balancing seems off. Most everyone seems to be a master with their weapon and hit like a freight train.

Good tips! Leveling here is the best. But I played a lot of KCD 1 so the longbow aiming was very similar. Heartstopper is really really good, because getting center mass shots are easy. Stay till at least lvl 16 Marksman. Potionmaking takes a long time and there is no more autobrew from KCD 1. Aqua vitalis and Artemesia can be sold to the apothecary and the Trader both next to the bench. If you know a recipe but your Henry does not, just make the poition by memory and it will add to your book. Its the way for law abiding citizens who don’t steal. Those two will get you all the money and levels you need for the early game. Hardcore playthroughs are way more immersive!

For some reason, when I pickpocket that guard for the room with a lot of loot in troskowitz, he never has the key to that room, its always just to the normal guard building

If there is one thing I don't like about this game, it's that I KEEP getting distracted and running off doing some random shit. Hours later: "Oh yeah, I should prob get back to doing "x"".

Am I the only one who tried to commit as little theft and crime as possible? I picked every chest lock but basically only took cobwebs and books (which I read and put back if they were not skill books). Still made it to the wedding with like 4K groschen

I have bad news for you buddy. This info is now outdated, an update had gone through and much has changed. For example, ive seen that enemies are no longer suckers for feint attacks

Best advice here: if you feel the saving system complicated, you should just go back to tetris. This is game is not for you. Just leave it be. I’m pretty sure your mom still feeds you with a small spoon.

Archery consltests is what i did to power.level and get money. I put a tiny stucker on the center of my screen and hit nothing but bullseyess

40 hours in and haven't touched the main quest, just roaming taking in the beautiful view, looting,stealing from households,growing stats slowly, crafting, cooking,interacting with other npc's,hunting,gathering different herbs...haven't felt bored of doing anything and still haven't touched the main quest.
You know this game is awesome and fun if you can enjoy 40 hours like me without even doing the first main quest after intro part

You should have added in about Henry's Fox Potion. 50% XP gain makes leveling all those skills so quick. Get overloaded in carry weight, slug a Henry's Fox, go crouch walk in circles for an hour or two around the pigs. And also adding "Bane" Poison to your arrows and swords makes combat trivial.

I don't get why anyone grinds this game. I mean yes its kind of hard, but just play the game. If you want to play as an op demigod play literally any other rpg. I espessially dont get the money guides. What are yall spend your money for, i buy close to nothing except for potions or repairkits. Like rigth now i have over 10k groschen and absolutely no need to use it. You can't even buy mercenarys or something to advance the story because everyone in the game thinks i'm paar or doesn't want my money. Are you gambling all your money away or how are you in need of money? I don't get it.

The Lent achievement is extremely painful to get

If you’re on PC just console command saviour schnapps. Levels drinking slowly and doesn’t require you to exit to desktop.

1. Instead of haggling prices down, TIP merchants! Especially the ones you frequently sell to. The long term benefit outweighs the loss.

2. What you wear affects how people talk to you. It also affects charisma, which affects speech, which affects prices.

3. The more you lockpick/steal, the better you become at it. It might help to get good early.

4. When you crouch and whistle, your whistle is hushed.

5. Birds hide interesting things in their nests.

6. If you're riding through the area and the landscape / sudden break in pattern catches your eye, trust your instincts. Explore that area.

7. People are not stupid in this game. If crime goes up with your presence, guards will start talking to you differently. Heed that warning.

8. When fighting multiple enemies, keep them all in your sight. NEVER let anyone get behind you. If you get hit while out of stamina, you're in a bad place.

9. The drying rack is one of your closest allies. Especially with apples.

10. Food / herbs dont spoil when in your chest (i believe)

Funny story, I've not played the 1st game, but I have played for honor, which at a first glance seems to be a similar if not identical combat system, so I just foolishly assumed so. After I first learned master strike, I thought that the target's hand direction was only its guard stance, and would swing from a random angle, and that I had to react to it with an attack AFTER the enemy struck, much like a parry or deflect in For honor, and I could not for the life of me perform a master strike. Game felt so hard that the only hits i could get in was from feign strikes.

Well I wish i knew them XD

Honey = for Henry.
Everything else = vendor.

Btw overusing exit save breaks the experience (or saving in general). The game is designed that you should live with your decisions and find another way to achieve things...

how to save easier: find a turned over wagon on the shoreline of the river/pond, there will be containers floating in the water. some of which are out of reach but the ones nearest to the shoreline contains a few potions, as well as some saviour schnapps. you know you found the right cargo if you find spices and dried meats. you can loot it all and come back in a day or two as the contents are restocked over time. (about a day or two. follows same protocol as personal npc chests/venders belongings minus the theft aspect as it is considered abandoned, great head start for those playing as a "saint") the items are pretty valuable so be sure to explore and try not to focus too much on game guides as a little mystery is always a tad bit more exciting.

A very good food in Kingdom condolence 2, is honey? It never spoiled and it stays. And it has really good nutrients for your character. Henry, and you can find it all around the world in beehives
