Weed smokers saying weed isn’t addictive is laughable. The only reason they can say it is because weed hasn’t been legalized long enough for any long term research to have been done and published. —why do you think so many people smoked cigarettes so long? Lung cancer and other cancers don’t just pop up in two days after smoking. It takes decades of your deteriorating health for it to show up when your 50-60.

Weed I’m not saying will give you bowel cancer or what cigarettes will give you. But if you smoke it you’ll definitely have lung problems in the future since any kind of smoke entering your lungs isn’t healthy whether it’s from a barbecue, weed or anything else. Moreover people will say weed isn’t addictive are weed smokers themselves. Acting like you don’t need to constantly smoke is crazy.

But we also already know due to various strains of cannabis it’s sometimes a hallucinogenic drug. —it doesn’t matter what drug, if it’s hallucinogenic it’ll change your brain chemistry and how certain chemicals interact with each other in the brain and body. —the fact it’ll change your brain chemistry should probably light up a lightbulb in your head that weed has a little bit more going on than what people wanna tell you. —like I’m saying, I don’t think weed is actually that bad, out of all drugs it’s probably the most harmless in comparison to others, although it fucking reeks, and you cannot mask that shit btw. But even early studies on younger people smoking weed have shown evidence of brain chemistry being altered more compared to a older adult with their brain almost fully developed brains.

So honestly, it’s probably a better drug to be addicted to compared to crack, coke, LSD, and etc. but it’s still a drug and if you think it can’t be addictive that’s just being voluntarily ignorant. —if something can alter your brain chemistry there’s a good chance it’ll be addicted alongside some strains being hallucinogenic.
