man , Ft. Meyers got raped
ОтветитьThe wind blows like that on a daily in Kansas
ОтветитьGlad everything went ok for you, personally I would say that was stupid brave and I don't think any boat would have been worth your life. Alls well, ends well. Question is,would you do it again?
ОтветитьSmart thinking. I have to invest in a boat.
ОтветитьWild!
ОтветитьBrilliant
ОтветитьGenius
ОтветитьWHY?
ОтветитьIf I had to ride out the storm go to the basement or build a shelter under the structure, not on a boat. Nuts
Ответитьglad u guys are ok....but thats pretty fucking stupid
Ответитьsnowbirds doing stupid $hit
ОтветитьPlease don’t watch this and think it is okay to ride out a hurricane on a boat. This is incredibly risky and it costs us Floridians millions of dollars every Hurricane to evacuate people who make these kinds of choices. Take it from a local never ever do this.
ОтветитьWell made boat!!
ОтветитьClimate change is real, stop eating animals…
ОтветитьThank goodness y'all made it. 🙏🙏🙏
ОтветитьStaying on a boat in a Cat4 hurricane, not sure if that is having balls of steel, or just sheer stupidity, because no one is coming. So glad that you made it with no injuries and minimal damage. A lot of boats were not so lucky.
Ответитьwho in the hell would think it's a good ideal to ride out a hurricane on a boat lmao
ОтветитьI know you think you’re cool and tough but it’s just really stupid and if first responders had to risk their lives to rescue ignorant people like you you’d be the first one to sue that they didn’t get there soon enough
ОтветитьCharlie completely took my home on the peace River. We rebuilt and sold the home & left FL. Absolutely no desire to go through anymore of that nonsense.
ОтветитьWould hardly call you brave, more like total i.......s.
ОтветитьI have to ask why you thought it was a good idea to ride it out on a boat when they have mandatory evacuations for the beach sides? I gentle breeze on the water makes me seasick forget doing it a cat 4 almost a cat 5 hurricane. Nope! No amount of money on this planet could get me to do that.
ОтветитьDamn Fools for risking their lives and possibly putting First responders lives in danger. Many boats ended up on land. Stupid people!
Ответитьonly a fool would stay there
ОтветитьUnbelievable!!! I really think every boat should have that gear surely saved your crazy brave crazy lives!!
ОтветитьIf you are in a boat, why not relocate out of harms way?
ОтветитьMultihulls are worse. I’d be concerned about taking flight ✈️
That bridle worked great 👍🏼
Stupid Stupid Stupid.
ОтветитьPut your. Finger over your speaker and play it in wawa. It's so Spookey

ОтветитьI'll give you all the credit in the world for riding that out. Ole Captain Stupid here wouldn't even dream of it.
ОтветитьWell, look at the bright side. No mosquitoes or no-see-em's for about 24 hours.
ОтветитьDude says: that Betty jean that's the crazy for me!LOL
ОтветитьThen they went ashore and realized it blew it all apart.
I bet they flinch the next hurricane.and run like smoke and okum
Where's the hurricane?
ОтветитьHi guys !! Send us something from the Bahamas please
Hope your having a blast!!
Mark from—Off the grid adventure boat

ОтветитьGod bless
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
A lot of uneducated people that don’t know boats and hurricanes
ОтветитьI wouldn't want to be there in our 20 foot long and 7 foot wide sailboat
ОтветитьThank u for sharing.
ОтветитьYou've lost your mast!
ОтветитьThat looks terrifying! I'm in the UK and hopefully buying a partially completed Richard Woods Skoota. Was there an alternative choice you could have made, or did you have to just sit it out? In the UK, I've never known wind to be so strong as to take paint off of metal. Crazy!
Ответить@darlajean1045 that’s some experience! How strong were the winds for you? When it came through NC we had 80 mph winds and it almost blew me off the dock here when I went to check our boat with my hubby.
ОтветитьThanks for sharing this experience, the behind the scenes of a hurricane and being on a boat, something I probably wouldn’t do but admire the courage
ОтветитьAny knowledgable expert mariner would never do that. Didn't your father ever teach you that it's not wise to get in fights with Nature? Odds are not in your favor. Fools
Ответитьwho does shit like this???
WHITE PEOPLE!
Its crazy that small 5/8th nylon line did not snap.
ОтветитьWow ! Where where you during the hurricane Ian? Somewhere in my “neck of the woods” (Ft.Myers / Cape Coral) ?
Helmuth
However, being anchored or on a good mooring was the better choice in this case…
that looks frightening !!!!!
