Matt Choi or Goku Runner? I’m going to choose Jeremy aka Goku Runner all the time. I get inspired by Jeremy’s video and running journey. Matt Choi has his niche audience. I can’t relate to Matt Choi because he seems to be about himself.
Running a full marathon is hard work and not easy for people like me. Thus I like Jeremy’s videos because he shows how difficult running is but Jeremy keeps going. Matt Choi is a fast runner and running for him seems effortless.
Choi feeds off his own ego. Take several seats sir
ОтветитьThis story going around faster than Sydney being the 7th major
ОтветитьMost of the time I don't listen to anything while running. If I do, it is usually podcasts.
Ответить@gokorunner higher tempo music to keep me moving
ОтветитьDoes Matt Choi know?
ОтветитьI don't mind his content, but he did make a mistake here. Here's my question though...I have never been to the NYC Marathon, but is there no security? How did a camera crew on ebikes make it the entire 26.2 miles?
ОтветитьGuy is all about himself. He's a strong runner, can't take that away from him. He did the same thing in the Austin marathon a few years ago. Glad he was DQ'd, he's a clown.
ОтветитьMatt was a big motivation for me to get into running. He's not a 'typical' runner and I appreciate his content, specifically related to strength training to help runners. He made a mistake, but I see so much hate for him, I find it sad really. I think his positive impacts on the running community far outweigh this e-bike incident. But I think I'm in a minority.
ОтветитьI was volunteering the 2024 NYRR RBC Brooklyn Half Marathon. Everyone who checked in their packages were waiting outside of the fence to wait on the volunteers to hand them packages. He just jumped off the fence and looked for his own package. Come on, you have to follow all the rules! That’s called Discipline!
ОтветитьLess talking more video.
ОтветитьMatt Choi had his bike crew filming him in Houston, too. I was surprised they were riding on the course
ОтветитьI never heard of him but he sounds like a fuck boy.
ОтветитьAs much as I like the running community.. Choi looks like a jerkoff, lol... only cares about the camera on him, and only respects the ones with more viewers than him.......
ОтветитьMatt is a cool guy everyone likes him. Stop hating on my guy
ОтветитьRunning "influencers" like Matt Choi are a virus to the sport...am delighted to hear this narcissist got banned from NYC.
ОтветитьSarurday at the expo we were looking for the stage with course strategy sessions, accidentally found Matt Choi speaking on a different stage. Took about 30 seconds to realize who he was and we noped out lol (and found the right stage!)
ОтветитьHow I feel about when cyclists taking up a whole path on rail trails
ОтветитьI don’t workout or train for anyone else. I do it for me no need to record.
ОтветитьYour a hater cuz his videos are way better than yours
ОтветитьDude has to be careful, if NYC banned him the other majors might follow suit
ОтветитьInstagram cuts video quality down so much, it's so pointless to have high-quality cameras... this ain't Netflix over here! 😂
ОтветитьAll runners are equal, whether non-elite or professional. Everyone has the same ticket to the finish line and receives a medal. Disrespecting others is a low-class slap in the face.
ОтветитьPersonal his content isn’t for me, I’m not much for content where every moment has to be motivational and a struggle. He comes off as fake nice. He has narcissistic traits.
ОтветитьWhich treadmill did you buy and what are your thoughts on it?
ОтветитьQotd: Mostly I've gone without listening to anything. Lately I've had a hard time with any runs over an hour and I've tried podcasts. Maybe they help a little bit sometimes, like when I'm trying to run extra slowly. As for Choi, I've never watched any of his videos and I don't know if I'd even heard of him until now, lots of guys called Matt around. It sounds like I haven't missed anything. All of this publicity probably helps him when it's all said and done. Glad to hear that you're getting the training done and the treadmill is working out for you!
ОтветитьHave you seen the Justine NYC Marathon videos yet? That's what running should be about!
ОтветитьWe dont need clowns like him in sport of running! Why is that so import to recording ur self in a race like that???! Am a 2.15 marathoner and havent never recording my self at a race!
ОтветитьJust another person who needs some attention in life. Where would fools like this be without the internet, hey?
To genuinely influence people isn't a job, it's a way of life and an unselfish desire and pursuit to see people change for the better without the need for any recognition or reward.
I hear a lot of hate and jealousy.
ОтветитьTell the tread people that @sas_runs_ will do a review. 😂😅 my dog @maggie.the.doxie will also do one 🤣🤣🤣
ОтветитьI agree 100% with everything you said and I get it why so many influencers are commenting on Matt Choi's debacle at the NYC Marathon. The thing is we know who Matt Choi is given his track record, but what amazes me is no one is talking about the failure and hypocrisy of the NYRR and NYC Marathon officials. They did absolutely nothing as they allowed Matt's crew to follow him on the course. The CEO of Runna even ran with him and should know better. I'm more disappointed with NYRR and NYC Marathon officials...
ОтветитьI stopped following Matt's content a long time ago. Absolutely awful individual 🤢.
