You guys need to reduce the background music a bit more. Highly distracting and annoying intruding into the commentary. A good content marred by unnecessarily loud BGM.

This is like the thing you hang above a baby’s crib to get your child to sleep , only it’s for adults and on a 1K$ iPhone laying next to you! Best sleep therapy ever!
Note - make sure you don’t have auto play on or you may find yourself in a galactic war with alien civilizations from millions of light years away!

Good animation. The text has errors. And the sound effects are like someone scratching their nails against a chalkboard. But I guess the visuals are okay. You need a science writer. You know? a PhD-level astrophysicist or at least a grad student in astrophysics.

First I love this documentary so much. Very valuable informations. I just hope if the day come that we discover a new worlds we don’t infest is with capitalism and other fucked up value systems humans designed to control on another. But to live in a much better world indeed. To repel all form of dictatorship and greed weather systematically or financially

Amazing, totally amazing that EVERYBODY making these films forget totally that we HAVE such a planet in Venus here that practically gravitationally locked and faces the Sun on one side only (practically), with its day being longer than its year. And still its dense atmosphere rotates the planet every few days, distributing heat and air all over the planet. The temperature on the dark side is the same as the light side, thanks to this. The gravitationally "locked" planets around Proxima Centuri do not need to be any different than Venus, with their thick atmospheres distributing the heat (and water vapor, if any) around the planet. No need to assume an oven on one side and a deep freeze on the other side of a gravitationally locked planet.

Damn, you really have to sit and admire what our telescopes can do.

Anxiously awaiting for the JWST photos slated to release on July 12th.

I remember when I first saw the Hubble Deep Field image and was in awe when I was younger … so much from just one small spot in the sky. Then again to see the Ultra Deep Field? Made me both feel excitement and sadness. Exiting to see what we’ve been able to do with our short time here on Earth compared to the universe’s estimated age as a whole, but extreme sadness knowing that there are so many galaxies out there that we’ll never get to visit or see, let alone really know if intelligent life is on any of them.

Just imagine … we sit here and dream of a day of being able to find an exoplanet that is able to inhabit intelligent life. We wonder if there could be a group out there just like us, on a planet way out there in space wandering if other life exists. It’s a wild thing to think about. You wonder if they’re advanced, going through their early years, or in a similar timeframe as we are with advancements. Can’t help but let your mind wonder to think what words they have for their everyday items, if they believed in God(s) or believe in a religion, if they ever discovered electricity, radio, or have something like the internet or even music.

Saddens me to never know.

Interesting, and related somehow, to this excellent presentation. Imagine a world like Proxima b in the far future when Earth is no longer a memory, its Terran colonist inhabitants long ago forego technology, living a simpler life, and cling to a bit of science, and religion, but have a world tidally locked, and their stars in the sky are three, and daylight is constant. That is the theme of a movie called "Nightfall" , based on a book by the great sci fi writer Isaac Asimov. Made in the 90's I think. It stars David Birney and is available on Prime video, or other sources. See how it is a possible story of some of our future colonists of our galaxy, who long since, left and have forgotten our home world, hundreds or thousands of years ago, and now deal with the complexities of life, and the unique tri-stellar circumstances of their new world. You won't be disappointed if you see this movie, ....I hope. ;D

SpaceRip,

There's a channel named ENR that posts all your videos over and over. They posted a video four hours ago titled "How can the Universe be infinite? Is there anything beyond the Universe?". Both videos are yours.

They have three hundred thousand subscribers somehow. They mutilate your videos with added loud music, video cuts, and zoomed-in frames. They delete my comments or banned me, I don't know, when I tell the people commenting to watch them here for the whole video in high definition and with no music and cuts. There's no spot for me to report their channel for copyright somehow. You should put an end to that. They have one-third as many viewers and have to do none of the work. In addition, destroy your great videos to beat the copyright algorithm.

The ONLY way humans might get to other systems is with spacecraft like the one at the end of "Interstellar". A ship that can support not only the initial crew, but can do so for possibly hundreds of generations... able to provide for thousands of travelers, and their offspring, and their offspring, etc... (with specific limiters on overpopulation) to live out their entire lives with food production, education, entertainment, and any of the needs for living lifetimes aboard. I think that with ion engines, we could probably construct such craft, in orbit, today. But since humanity is a base species that cannot or will not consider the species BEFORE the individual, it is highly unlikely that our species will ever come together, as Terrans, to take such a step... and even if reasonable, rational people did, some arsehole terrorists would sabotage it. Humanity doesn't deserve its continued existence and is quite close to guaranteeing its own extinction much faster than constructing arks in space to perpetuate our kind throughout the universe... which we SHOULD NOT do because we can NEVER allow religion to infect the rest of the wondrous universe we inhabit.

What would be absolutely nuts is if we find out that earth based life also evolved on many other planets. Same animals, and eventually humans. Most likely life would be drastically different based on conditions.
