Her accent... SO AWESOME!

Though I didn't completely enjoy the character of Rebecca in the movie (due to the fact that she's married to Dan though she obviously doesn't love him) I have to admit that Ruth saved a lot in that matter. She just seemed to fit the role so well and she gave the character this certain edge. Difficult to explain but long story short: loved Ruth's performance.
