212 after enhanced rising star is so tricky to pull off

been waiting for some JC & Mavado combos, he's still iffy to me for being a -100hp kameo. Thy need to start every character at 1,000hp.

I can't even hit the 212
Tips to do it?

I’ve been doing jc mavado combos and I’m mad that I’m looking at a 50% combo that has less hits than my combo I can only get 43%

And then my mavado takes too long to recover and hit again if I’m not at the edge of the screen

the hard part is getting him to run behind you im not sure how im doing it

I’ve been workshopping Johnny mavado tonight! I’m late to playing Johnny but I like to play eventually be able to play everyone and I am not exactly a rush down player, but Jesus are his staggers fun and 30% off shadow kick landing is nuts. Imma add this combo to the repertoire. Good stuff.
