what a slaughter! No wonder he's the Boss of Atlanta! Two things that I feel 12 yr old struggled against and that was Boss' slice, something which he had not encountered with other oppoonents before, and secondly Boss' S&V which is something rare to see and the kid was not comfortable getting rushed like that. Also felt the 12 yr old was very inconsistent in this particular match, something that wasn't obvious in his past matches.
ОтветитьYo is this a video game! shit look clean!
ОтветитьJust wait till the kid hits his growth spurt 😳
ОтветитьBoss is a bit deceptive at first, until you see what’s going on. Not the smoothest looking strokes or movement, I’m guessing mostly self-taught. His serve motion hints toward that too although it works well for him. Then you notice that he makes no unforced errors (never misses), is fast as hell, has great court sense and variety. Only superior firepower is going to win against that guy because he’d beat a backboard.
Good experience for the kid who showed some good stuff, especially the BH side. My only advice to him is to grow. Ha.
I know a 13 year old boy , I watched beat the 240 ranked WTA player 6-0 6-1.
ОтветитьThe old guy played like he had hemorrhoids
ОтветитьBoss is so solid, a model of placement and efficiency for rec players. Never overhits or goes for shots he doesn't have.
ОтветитьOnce the 12 year old grows his shots will be more powerful. I love his all court game. Give him 1-2 years and he will beat you easily.
Boss man is a season veteran. Would be a nightmare to play against.
Dude is 3.5 in NYC
ОтветитьThats really "The Boss"?? Yikes. I bet the MEP, rocket engineer, and wannabe pro were prob all utr 3
ОтветитьSomeone needs to call CPS because that was straight child abuse. Hoping the kid can pull a Jordan and 'take it personally' to get his revenge in a year or two
ОтветитьWoah! Here in Canada 4.5 are like semi-pro !
Ответитьthe fact that he plays a 12 year old is awesome in itself. This is the attitude that I want my son to pick up. You play anyone anywhere and if you win you win, if you lose you lose.
ОтветитьA rematch in 2 years will look a lot different.
ОтветитьThe young man needs to work on shot selection. His mechanics are good. He should've hit at least 75% of the shots to Boss' forehand. His backhand is way more solid. Keep away from slice shots when you're playing older opponents. It gives them time to set up. Hit hard and deep and run them.
Boss.... your footwork on the backhand is better than the forehand. Better quick steps. Also good footwork on the split step going to the net. A lot of your forehands are open stance and off your back foot. I hate playing against people who hit the serve on the rise. It robs you of time to judge where it's going and the natural rhythm of prep steps on the return. In other words... good job there. =)
The adult is crap. Weak serve and lazy feet, hits the ball too close to him. Has decent volleys though. Watch the kid at least move the man about whereas the man just hits it straight to the kid. The kid is quality.
Ответитьgood player still beat him 0 n 0
ОтветитьI do not see a 4.5
ОтветитьI could literally 6-0 this kid when i was nine his technique is absolutely deformed and he barely has control over his shots. The best thing he has is he puts some weird type of top spin on the ball.
ОтветитьWhy does his forehand grip look so western?
ОтветитьTalk about an off day, S__n. Wow. Boss' net game is superb. And so is his hustle, especially for his age. Well done. Rematch!
ОтветитьIsn't this immoral?
ОтветитьBO lol, don't be so hard on yourself,l 😂
ОтветитьThis kid is going to be an absolute beast when grows up
ОтветитьIm the jerk that would take pride in bageling this kid lefty, but I hope he gets to the level he wants and that he remembers that tennis growth is not exponential
ОтветитьWhat is his UTR
ОтветитьYep, that was me back in 73', an aspiring young player who eventually earn a full ride to a D-1 school and on to the circuit for a minute. What a tennis journey I have had. Bon chance...
ОтветитьYellow guy is like a dollar store version of Karlovic lol
ОтветитьDon't hold back next time.
ОтветитьI would HATE to play boss. He's very good
ОтветитьUnusual but effective serve motion from BoA. Reminds me of former lefty pitcher Dave Dravecky. Effort wise looked like he was just lobbing the ball to home plate only it got on you much quicker.
ОтветитьI played the kid a while back he was in 14 u when he was 12
ОтветитьThe 12 year old is a great player but he's trying to do way too much with the ball. Going for shots he doesn't have to. He'll gain more patience the more he plays and hopefully he'll learn to look for better opportunities. Having said that, he would run me off the court lol.
Ответитьtry playing the ones from japan.. they are way better
Ответитьkey to plsaying jrs is to give them less to hit ie big spin less pace keep ball out of their wheekhouse
Ответитьwhat was the kids name
ОтветитьHe is not nationally ranked. Definitely not good enough. I say this becuase I know. My sister is 12 and nationally ranked.
ОтветитьAs a lefty I hope he makes it and represents us
ОтветитьWhat’s their utr’s?
ОтветитьKid’s got awesome strokes but lacks some of the mental fortitude and discipline of Boss during the points - he’ll get there with some experience and age. Also not to take anything away from boss but he has an inefficient service motion, he’s using his arm too much and leaving power on the table because he’s not involving his knees and hips enough. Similar story on forehand - if he fixes the kinetic chain in these he probably won’t need that compression sleeve for his elbow.
ОтветитьYellow shirt guy plays tennis like badminton lol. It is funny . Never seen that before
ОтветитьI love his forehand, as well as his passion and his instinct.
ОтветитьWhat's boss UTR range? 8-9ish? Thanks!
Ответить4.5? 😂😂😂 give me a break
ОтветитьFYI lefties hate playing lefties. My regular partner (righty) was trained by a lefty only hits with lefties. He hates playing righties.
ОтветитьMan, he's really the boss! Me thinks he's a 5.0 though.
The match was a spectacle seeing the boss near-elite serve and volleying skills, even though it was a beatdown.
Fun match. The 12-year-old has the skill, but not the physical strength yet. He'll get there!
ОтветитьBoss shouldn't gift intentionally any game to his opponent, it was a mistake.
