Kari Bremnes - Montreal

Perhaps it is Norwegian origin of Kari Bremnes that she is not so popular worldwide. Anyway she sings beautifully. I agree - elegant and reamrkable artist. Thanks for posting. Great

I don't know why she drops an octave on the chorus here, the norwegian version does not have this, and to me, the darker voice makes the song too depressing (as if the lyrics and tune were not already very clear). It becomes kinda Leonard Cohen-like, which I don't like. (And, yes, I do know that she once did a great cover of Cohen's "Everybody knows")
