That’s great work, you have more beds now for crop rotation ,, I would devote one of the beds for cut flowers, dahlias, gladioli, lupins, feverfew, achillea, cosmos, zinnias, echinacea to name a few

That is a really canny idea, and should keep carrot fly out! I has one raised wooden bed in my old plot but otherwise didn’t bother with them as I found working on beds made straight onto the ground easier on my knees and more flexible, but this looks good!

Ive just subscribed.. as i like the idea of this..
Ive just taken on a plot and im completely new to this..
I have a question though, since my whole plot is ridden with grass can i do this?
I see it looks as though youve covered it in manure, will this kill of the grass and save the hassle of digging it all over?
My council decided not to charge me for this year due to tlthe state the plot is in. So im thinking of this idea to get all the beds ready for next year and have a clean slate ready..?
