@kseke25 it's just the same as a woman wanting to kiss a man but most of the time they won't ask and assume that the man is suppose to except it because of the fact that she wants to kiss him,so i guess the woman would be a pompous asshole too because there's plenty of women that invade a lot of people space because they think they can,in this movie you can tell she wanted to kiss him but he asked her first anyway.

I watched this probably when it came out on TV. Ted and Laurel were so cute together. That mother was unbelievable! I can't even imagine how Laurel feels toward her. She was a sweet daughter who had a loving husband and an adorable baby.

The instrumental music in this movie cracked me up. Still does, it's so dramatic, sometimes for no reason.

Joanna Kerns and Judith Light made some of the best lifetime movies in the 90s. Susan Lucci too.
"Betrayal of Trust" with Light is another good one, same wintery atmosphere.

Narcissistic mom with a pushover husband, and daughter has no real clue…. Does this really happen? Of course, who wouldn’t fall for Ted? Only half way through, and hearing more manipulation from the pushover….doesn’t look like it’s leading to a great ending.

Her acting stinks Judith light. She always plays a narcissistic person. I just don’t like her acting.

I don’t understand why lifetime can’t make good movies like this anymore? They fit so much in less than two hours so you fully got the story now it seems rushed with bad acting.

It’s utterly sad and ugly how Celeste allowed her narcissistic tendencies to ruin her relationship with her daughter all for the sake of an image she’s lied about from the beginning🙄
