Manila, Philipines - First Impressions of the Capital City

My first day of my year-long backpacking adventure has begun, and I’ve arrived in a very wet and damp Manila. After checking into my hostel and dropping off my backpack, I headed up to the rooftop area to take in the view and get a feel for the neighborhood where I’ll be staying for the next three nights. Despite the rainy weather, Manila seems to have a lot of potential for exploring.
