It seems that each layer had a different flavor. That’s why he asked “what are my options” then she responded telling him the other two flavors, one of them being strawberry. Then he said “I’ll just stick with what I’ve got”. The cake really should have been sliced up in the back and brought out on trays with the different flavors or displayed on a table. Maybe the bride and groom didn’t specify that service.

my mom was a wedding cake designer for over 30 years. Never once did she do this in front of the guests much less the couple! This ain't the way

lemme tell you, myself, my few family and friends that were invited, and my wifes family from Senora wouldn't have given a flying fuck, would have busted out laughing and screaming ANIMOOOO A LA VERGAAAA AMOS A PISTEAR and would have ate that cake with no questions asked. All these comments 😂 no one is arguing that she was maybe splitting the cake for different flavors, freezing the top, etc. It's the fact that she just man handled it!! Ok maybe she HAD to separate them right there but come on... use the freaking pastry cutter that you clearly had, a serving utensil, anything else. The issue is that she just shoved her hands in there and pulled off that layer leaving a big ugly mess and then she proceeds to slice the cake and handle everything with her gloves covered in frosting 😂 no matter if you consider this a cheap wedding or expensive wedding. There was no grace, consideration, or professionalism to what she did👎clearly she didn't care about that though... 🤷‍♀️
