I feel like she needs a strong, kind, mature man. Don’t hate the messenger. Lots of kids went through this and haven’t had therapy. Her first child was adopted so it is awful to act like the man, her HUSBAND, isn’t the father bc he is. Period. She will learn what to share and take it as truth. She has no reason to lie. I was married to someone whose godfather SA’d her and her 2 sisters. She had recovered but there was a time she needed more therapy while were married but it didn’t happen. I ended up leaving because of and her daughter was teen mom of 2. Heavy. I was involved with other women who had other bad histories of SA and physical violence by close family members & spouses. I think I’ve been involved with more women than that had some form of trauma. I’m 60 and it’s been some time since I had someone who WASN’T traumatized up until my current GF. The problem is a lot of women have residual trauma that doesn’t get completely addressed
