might be time to move d'lo to the bench and go all in on offense and start Knecht or start max christie for defense

Last night proved we desperately need a defensive big and anoth 3&D wing and/or defensive minded gaurd . Moreover, many of guys should be considered expendable since nun beside bron AD and surprisingly rui can string two good games in a row and the rest are proven one way players. Vandos return should help but the question is how much ?

None of our perimeter players can play above average defense. Thats the issue.

It's embarrassing to watch the Lakers backcourt every night! Dlo should have been traded 2 years ago. If you've been in the league 10+ years, we have to accept who you are. He is a serviceable guard on a non-contending team. Dlo is not a legit PG or SG because hes inconsistent as fukk. Did you all see him last game pass the ball to Hayes in the corner for a 3 with like 5secs left on the shot clock? Yea, thats y DLo needs to go, hes ineffective as fukk on both ends of the floor

And Rui needs a stern talking too. His mind automatically goes to "poster" if hes
less than 3ft from the basket and this has happened too many times. He needs to understand that a floater, euro step, pump fake is fine and not try to dunk on 7 ft Jarrett Allen. The funny thing with that play is that LBJ was going to drive to the hoop but he saw Allen there and passed to Rui who had the smaller defender in Mitchell on him smh. What does Rui do? Pull up over Mitchelle? Nope, he spun and drove direc tly into Allen for a onehanded slam that was ultimately blocked. The ability to read the floor is so important and we see too many of the lakers players not knowing how to do that.

Lakers got punched in the mouth super early by a bunch of 3-point shots made in the 1st Quarter. Lakers could not respond with high volume 3-point shooting of their own.

JJ was out coached he didn't know how to adjust or what lineups to counter the Cavs attack. His inexperience is showing. Just like a rookie player needs live game reps for experience same goes for a rookie coach. He is the right coach for this team and will get better every game just give it time!

I thought AD was done w the dramatics and always staying out of plays to let refs know he’s pissed but here we are… JJ didn’t call a timeout so I’m hoping he told him to cut the crap and get in the game or off the floor one of the two

Man this team is the same. Ad and bron carrying with every other player barely being playable. Rui is the only other somewhat consistent player. Reaves and DLO you never know. If they’ll break double digits but you for sure know they’re gonna get burned on defense! Watching AR try to guard booker the other day was painful. He might as well not even been there contesting even booker just shoots over him😭 thank god he’s Mr unreadable tho. And our savior Christian Koloko will be back. Trevor lane has been hyping him up like he’s the second coming or Karl Malone

Man Mr untradable aka reaves is so inconsistent and just gets hunted on defense. He might as well not even contest shots because defenders don’t even notice him and just shoot over him. Watching him guard booker was painful. Same w Dlo but at least he can contest a shot cause his wingspan. And our bench back court isn’t much better. Gabe gets absolutely lost on rotations, Christie can’t defend anyone and gets bullied, and knect is just lost out there on defense.

Trevor lanes bias towards reaves is insane. He mentions how everyone is not great EXCEPT reaves. Reaves is insanely inconsistent on offense and gets absolutely hunted on defense. I’m not begging for a trade now but what I am saying is how fucking stupid LA is for making AR Mr untradable for the last 3 years……

The opposing team blitzed AD and Lebron . The “others” were not existent. They need to be ready and make shots or coach needs to search the bench and a clear plan B to relieve pressure when your top 2 players keep turning the ball over . Our role players all had shaky hands all looked steps too slow . Maybe we have to send the opposition to the line rather than let them blow by you . I would say strategy wise put gabe and max sooner and ask them to not give any clean looks and rather them send the cavs to the line . And bring in AR and Dlo at a later time but ready to SHOOT !!!

I don't want a 3rd superstar, I just want another scorer that CONSISTENTLY gives us 15-20 pts, and then 10 from a combo of boards, assists, steals, blocks. SOLID and Consistent. That's the problem with DLO, when he's on he's better than that, but when he's off, he's often a big reason we lose. Lakers can't afford a player like that when there's not a consistent 4th or 5th option behind player 3.
