Everything in this world is an appearance of what God has always known. This knowledge lends us comfort until things don't go the way that we want them to. At that point, we start to ask questions about predestination and the nature of good and evil; we want something that assure us that we have control. However, the life of the slave is an empty one. He or she lets go and lets God. They know the appearance but they know the One who caused it to manifest far more intimately. They trust Him and do not fight Him, just as the body being prepared for janaaza. This online Islamic course is to help us achieve such a state before we die so that we may taste the pleasures of harmony with The Real.
