Bonded leather?

This is the normal quality you get for 50 $. Real leather is expensive. But it still looks very cheap because of the buttons showing. I got myself a watch roll from a German company called Louis Lounis. Similar design but far better quality. But it also costs 149$. But I prefer to spend a bit more on a product, than have to worry that it falls apart after 2 months.

Is it add stress on bracelet as the watch is squeezed?
