Thank you Usse Harr😊
ОтветитьUnusual for a series to start out with the lose of a child.
ОтветитьI like this Lon Cohen better than the other.
ОтветитьIt has been THREE YEARS since I discovered this channel. Allow me to express my love for it. I've come back often, and find something new to love and appreciate each time. For this episode specifically, it permanently lives rent free in my brain, with quiet admiration of the sweet, emotional ending.
ОтветитьI have watched all of the episodes in this series a number of times. Having read most of Nero Wolfe books before seeing this adaptation, I think I can say they follow the books reasonably close, and the characters of Nero and Archie are brilliantly acted. Good writing and good acting never go stale. Thanks so much for posting these.
ОтветитьGreat program quality acting etc no idea why they'd cancel
ОтветитьAbsolutely wonderful staging and actual dated clothing and props. Decor is exquisite. Thanks again 😊😊
ОтветитьI enjoy these almost as much as I do Sherlock 😮
ОтветитьThis show is great and the radio show is too
ОтветитьSir knight, I just pissed my pants and there is nothing anyone can do about it.
ОтветитьWhy do all these Nero Wolfe episodes have the absolute SUCKIEST sound recording?
ОтветитьSo glad you did this. I can. Watch them in a row. And. Be. Distracted. From. War at times its. So. Very. Hard. To. Watch the. News. ! And. The evils of that war. !!
ОтветитьWow, Tim Hutton sure looks hi pa in this movie. 😯
ОтветитьBless you for this
ОтветитьStarlings? Yuck!
ОтветитьI want to thank you as well. Retired and watching my pennies closely, it is nice to know I can still see clips like this. THANK YOU!
ОтветитьI agree with all who loves this show, such great acting by Niro and Archie, such great tandem in their work together. Niro's love 4 orchids was the last drop, my next orchid added to my personal collection would be called Niro!
ОтветитьLove this!!!❤❤❤ thank you, Usser
ОтветитьA brownstone? It looks more like brick and limestone.
ОтветитьI, too, thank Usse Harr for posting these special shows. I do NOT appreciate Charles Shafer re-posting Usse's videos and claiming they are in FULL HD, which is a lie. Same 360P as always. Cheap, click bait tactics- how desperate do you have to be to do that stuff???
ОтветитьGreat show and man o man! And Timothy Hutton out dresses everyone including Nero (Maury Chaykin) . Much like Hugh Fraser ( Captain Hastings ) from Hercule “Poirot” fame.
ОтветитьIntelligent, suspenseful, and funny. Raw elegance in execution.
ОтветитьLOL I'd eat it too! Yummy!
ОтветитьThe characters and stories were so believable.
Easy to see why the Whilliam Shatner (1959) episode was not successful;
Anyone know what YEAR these starring Timothy Hutton were PRODUCED? I can see some of the PLOTS appearing later in Perry Mason AND Columbo! Same might be said of the French Detective episodes of "Maigret." too.
They stick that globe in your face first! Just like when they indoctrinated you all in kindergarten. The truth is we don't live on a tilted spinning flying ball of water!
Research Flat Earth please, and put in end to freemasonic indoctrination.
He weighs 285 lbs.
ОтветитьIf the guy was threatening her in the car with a gun, she could have called it self defence😂 didnt have to run him over with the car, nor the rest of the murders
ОтветитьI need someone like Fritz.
ОтветитьThese were some great years for A&E. They really did some quality stuff back then. I adored this series- the ensemble was top notch !
Ответить2000 divided by 7 equals 285 lbs.
ОтветитьThis show was so cool! set design, music, ensemble cast. It was so awesome. Too bad Timothy Hutton turned out to be a sex pervert :(
ОтветитьIn this show, I liked the way Wolfe's mouth hung open while he watched Archie enjoying the meal he rejected. Such a little nuance is so delightful.
ОтветитьI AGREE. Long live A&E!!
ОтветитьAt 76
ОтветитьI first met Nero Wolfe and Archie Goodwin years ago via The Motherhunt book and continued to read and enjoy them all. This is just the beginning of the great series and it is of course so very bad that it wasn't on any longer. The actors chosen for the series are just perfect and so talented. Did everyone notice the portrait of Sherlock Holmes on the wall behind Archie's desk! TYso much for this series.
ОтветитьIts that time of year again! Getting cool towards fall and soon winter. ❤ i seem to revisit these every 6 months.
Hope everyone is doing well!
I never knew about this show. Good grief this was good! I cried 3 times and yelled at the screen twice. I shall saver the next one I watch 🌹😊
ОтветитьI adore this series. It is so camp, and so incredibly lovely to look at, sets and design all pre AI BTW. Delicious, thank you 🇨🇦
ОтветитьI cried at the end.....
ОтветитьThis has to be one of the best pilots I've ever seen. I'm not surprised it was picked up. Sad that it only ran for two seasons. I especially liked that they used the same actors for the different roles switching up who was the villain making it very tricky in trying to guess who was the murderer. Very reminiscent of the series starring Basil Rathbone as Sherlock Holmes where they did the same thing to one degree or another. I'd love to act in a series like this just so I could have the chance at wearing a suit and a fedora everyday. If the style of that era ever comes back I'll be the first sheep to jump on that
ОтветитьWatching it again. Superb as always.
ОтветитьHolly shiit that was magnificent
