A gift from Tropical Storm Helene

On Friday September 27, 2024 Tropical storm Helene struck western North Carolina leaving massive destruction in its path. While the recovery will be long and costly, we continue making the most of what we have. As utility crews make their repairs they leave behind damaged or abandoned equipment. In this video we came across some trashed telephone line and proceeded to put it to good use.
