One of his passive changed from +shield and -enemy shield
To
+primary weapon damage based on enemy armour(60%-75% damage bonus will gone when enemy armour is gone)
And
+fire rate on killing enemy

I love Hurricane, but sadly the only reason to play him over other Shield heroes is the flavor lol
The problem with the changes is that Adaptive Armor proccing on every hit sounds good but the characters Hurricane has trouble with are the characters that don't care about armor anyways
It's still a nice QoL change at least
But I think the increased movement speed has potential to be really good, maybe increasing it to 15%/20% would be nice
Right now the best way to play him is turtling heroes that are actually capable of doing things, he's a pretty good support, and I personally enjoy that playstyle, but being able to make him into a more offensive threat with more speed and damage would be amazing

The amount of times being spawned in between a team with levi and a team with slayer is ridooooooculous!!!!.......

I'm new to the game and I really do love Hurricane but I admit you're right, he has low damage, he's a softer but faster Bastion, he should do a lot more damage than Bastion but that's just not the case, Bastion might to more damage than Hurricane which is absurd, but I like him anyway because his playstyle is fun and he does well in 1 v 1s, unfortunately he needs a big damage buff or he needs a longer lasting shield ability to compensate for his low damage.

The scan nerf was inevitable, the problem with scan is, it is abuse every game, people would go smg mainly ghost,angel and raven comps, and there was no counterplay with that, they have pick up speed due to ghost plus the stim to flank such teams that they were able to scan, so I'd say the scan nerf was justice, unless you also pick the same thing, that's just annoying to deal with.

Not that good of a HERO? Hurricane is extremly good HE CAN EASILY TAKE OUT 2 TEAMS! IN 1 MATCH + Had 8 kills w/ Hurricane on Bravery Rd Sq. V. Sq, JUST THIS MORNING! So no way are you convincing me Hurricane is not good especially w all his gears set at legendary or above....

Watching this a year later... hurricane needs a buff!
