nice walk through thanks laura - reason your first render didn't look good is because this model performs best at 102x1024.
i got decent results with 768 as well but the refiner didn't do it's job nicely
1024 is exceptional on a simple prompt
this UI is incredible to learn ins and outs SD but also to build you own custom routings
many video compositing applications are node based, it's so flexible

When I try to run ComfyUI on M2 Mac I get the error AttributeError: module 'torch' has no attribute 'mps'. I have PyTorch installed so I'm confused as to what's triggering this error.

Well, whar’s the point if u can’t connect multiinodes to an input ? Allowing to mix models, vae , and having the ability to determine the mixing percentage between the differnt sources connected to one node. This would make it a powerful experimentation tool... for now it’s a mess for the sake of it ( and god knows i love node compositing IN VIDEO APPS, or chaining in DAWS like the wonderful BITWIG, which basically reactualize today what logic audio used to be b4 apple bought it, almlst twenty years ago, which had what was named the environment, the equivale’t of the BITWIG’s grid. Then apple made it an app for dummies... and are regarding AI losing the game because of their stupid non expandable ecoshitstem... i just bought a macstudio for my musoc studio as in term of cpu processing power it’s highly reliable, low noise and low power consumption and allows simultaneous audio interfaces thx to the agregate ability of it’s midi engine... but they’re done. Even audio is now evolving to benefit from the use of the gpu to alleviate the workload of the cpu. It’s workin already for some plugs and is the trend to soon be generalized... Having a macpro not allowing to use third parties gpus on pcie 4 and soon 5 slots is a shame and the end of apple for professionals... i also bought my first pc component by component and got an absolute monster, quiet and beautiful, ten times more powerful than a mac studio m2 ultra, with 10 gigs of ultra high speed ssds, +sata ssd’s, hard drives, pcie 5 ready motherboard, last gen ram, only 64 that i’ll upgrade to 160 for 200 euros, intel core i9 13900k, an rtx 4090 suprim liquid x in a case allowing me to use multi gpus config in the near future.... high end logitech keyboard and mouse, wacom tablet, ultra-fine ergo lg display... for 5000 euros, highly évolutive and future ready... 90s to generate a image on mac m1 ! 6s on my pc, double booting on linux and windows, linux being my weapon of choice... the dead apple... but u’re definitely the perfect wife ! ,)

I got banned from Midjourney (for not agreeing with the decision of the moderation team of interpreting the rules in a way that was not clearly stated in their TOS) I am now unable to use this workflow anymore and having a good computer with a a good but outdated GPU with 12 GB I realize that it would be nice if I could just leverage TPUs and GPUs for free or at a discount per second rate it would be great to increase my productivity and speed 😅😅😅😅
